i have this camera, you can change the interface and take off the wind sound, this was actually a bad review, the camera has tons of more things, if ur buying one you wont regret it ;)

The filming sucks. I have the same camera but if there is just a little lack of light, the noise gets way to much.

i have the canon power shot sx20 is and i miss the super fine picture quality and i just have HD 720p movie and the vga

$500+ price tag is definite too much, cause you could almost grab the nikon d5000 or canon t1i which also shot hd video and take far better pictures.

Yep you are right,In daylight the SX1 IS will be all you will ever need,with fantastic HD video as well,BUT it starts to come apart at the seams when the light dies.However,dont forget even if you go for a Nikon 18-200 Zoom Combo it will still put you way above the $1000.00 Mark!

your talking about a 300 difference in price and that will get you a junk kit lens. with a decent lens your looking at over a 1000

is not 300 diff, is more 100 diff, there were so many sells. even with kit lens will beat the image quality of this tiny cmos sensor camera.

Yeah but both of hem cost over 700 dollars and are both EOS cameras so of couse there going to be different but doesn't necessiarly mean their going to be better then them.

i heard this camera is bad in low light or night shot it can't shoot slower than 1 seconds.

that's the sx20 which can shoot just 1fps in burst mode.

but the sx1 can shoot 4fps.
