  • When's the book coming?

  • I confronted Eddie O on this, he didn't deny anything. You were right all along.

  • @sunbiz1 I appreciate you admitting that. You were one of the biggest doubters. It is what it is, just because it isn't publicized doesn't make it untrue. Thank you.

  • I confronted Eddie O on this, he didn't deny anything.

  • Joe ... if you Ran the restaraunt in Arlington Heights before the fire then my Mom worked for you ... Sandi Jensen. she was a waitress. i can remember how upset she was after the fire. I can remember going in there as a lil kid and hanging out. i'm 35 years old now and was just googling Ed and came across this. wow.

  • I ran Ed Obradovich's Bear Oil Company, which he ran the same way, fast & loose. I believe it was Bill Alliston That wrote here about the fire in Arlington Heights. Ed talked to me about the murder in Oakbrook, his connection to Tony 'Big Tuna' Accardo, & introduced me to Tony Accardo Jr in his Bear Oil office. I sometimes wonder if Ed Obradovich could be some type of Federal informant as well, because I have never seen anyone get away with so much that was so obvious & Ed actually boasts about.

  • New Chicago Bears FanStandChant; "WE NEED A BLITZER! NOT A MAFIOSO!"

  • Comment by former Obradovich employee Bill Alliston; I ran O'Bradovich's restaurant in 1978 in Arlington Heights from June 1978 to November 1978. He had a lot of money problems even then, and had a private dinner with a Chicago mafioso who could only be addressed by his first name; no last name was ever to be uttered openly. It would cause undue notice.

  • Cont. from above, former Obradovich Bill Alliston; I left managing the place after an unjust accusation which culminated in an angry shouting match with him, up close face to face in a shoebox sized office. Shortly after I left, the restaurant surprisingly went up in flames, but his prized Bears photographs I had put on the walls were saved (taken down before the fire). It was an interesting phase of my career, for sure.

  • My family lived across the street from Ed Obradovich and his family for nearly 10 years in the 70s. In Inverness, Illinois on Milton Road. Ed asked my father, a comemercial real estate broker, to try and sell his burned down restaurant. Insurance money provided them with cash--I remember Eddie Jr., on the school bus saying "we're rich again". He also had daughters Amy and GiGi. And a dog named Missy/Misty.

  • Well you know how kids are. Surely Jr. heard his Dad stomping around the house, pounding his chest saying "We're rich again!" Because he used his organized crime connections to torch his bar & get away with it. I guess after he got away with murder, the rest was easy. All I know is his fraudulent oil co. is still up & running. They generate much money for the local economy & payoff too many politicians to ever be stopped. That's what organized crime front companies do. Thanks for your comment.

  • Example of Ed Obradovich's rules as Bear Oil owner; As Director of Operations you're not allowed to use the upstairs bathroom to urinate. Rather you have to urinate in the dock sewer next to the Bear Oil office because Ed Obradovich & the S&S owners are too cheap to pay an assistant. But you have to go upstairs to fax orders to the S&S warehouse because they're too cheap to pay for a fax machine in the Bear Oil office. Ed Obradovich is where dirt cheap meets stupidity.

  • So this is a video about Ed O'bradovich, a piece of shit ex Chicago Bear?

His company was called "Bear Oil Distributors". NOT Chicago Bears OIl Distributors". So the guy used to play for the Bears. I'm sure he asked to use the Chicago Bears in his name, but they refused. Too bad the word "Bear" doesn't mean anything. There are a SHIT-TON of companies in Chicago with "Bear" in the name. Not to mention "Bulls"...

All of your videos say a lot, but cite NO SOURCES. I dare you to post this.

  • His company is called Bear Oil because he asked for the right to use the name from Mike McCaskey and it was approved. S&S Automotive in return buys blocks of Bears tickets and uses them to secure business and sells them off to ticket brokers. This video cites me as the source as the former Director of Operations, and the Payton videos cite the media sources that published that information. Thank you for your comment, I am glad to post it for you.

  • It's just Bear Oil. You don't need to ask for the rights unless he used specifically "Chicago Bears Oil".

And how about some documentation? As 1 example, you say that Joe Spivak was cut from the team and hired by S&S. Show that he was on the payroll after he was cut.

I don't care who you are or were, you could say anything you want and unless you show documents that backs up your claims or have a relatively large group of people support it through their own knowledge, you are lying.

  • McCaskey signed to let Obradovich use the Bear name. Ed O wouldn't have wanted it any other way & believe me the tantrum would have been huge if he didn't get it. He was already jealous of Ditka Dogs with the owners of S&S. He wanted his piece of the Bear pie from McCaskey to show Ditka he could play business guy too. The doc. is in the Bear Oil books, the trade for Accardo's Kumerow, & the rest is in the Bears history and can't be changed. It would be defamation of character if I were lying.

  • Bears fans; This video is not about the 2008 Bears, or any other Bears players. It's about ex-player, Ed O'bradovich, that still defrauds and corrupts consumers through his Bear Oil and S&S Automotive companies, as well as Bears ownership that allows O'bradovich to still mentor for the Bears and defraud consumers. In fact, I wish the 2008 Bears and their coaching staff all the best. If they place better then 26th place in 2008, then they outplayed their ownership.

  • Why don't you name the owners?? OB is not smart enough to come up with this stuff.

  • The other owners of S&S Auto and Bear Oil are Ron Kushner, Jerry Chavoene, and Ed Norris (deceased). I was waiting for someone to ask. You are right, O'bradovich is not smart enough to come up with this stuff, he's just the figure head they use to help defraud and corrupt dealers and the public.

  • In addition to the owners of S&S/Bear Oil named above, the company acountant's name is Jim Withrow. Jim Withrow is responsible for the covering up of said corruption and fraud, and has been for many many years. He also oversees all accounts receivables and account payables

  • Bears ranked 26 of 32 worst team owners. "Chicago Bears -- By all rights this should be one of the richest & most successful franchises in sports. The Bears have the NFL's second-largest market all to themselves, a recognizable brand steeped in tradition & a refurbished stadium. They even played in the Super Bowl 2 years ago, though it's hard to remember after last season's harsh comedown. & yet? "What a disaster," one owner says."

  • Continued: "They (Chicago Bears) should be 1st or 2nd in revenues; they're lucky if they're in the middle of the pack." With Michael McCaskey, who was publicly declawed by mother Virginia after mismanaging the team back in the '90s, back in charge of the family business (Phillips is technically the CEO & president), there's not a whole lot of promise on the horizon. McCaskey, the nominal head of the league's Super Bowl committee, takes that role very seriously"

  • Cont.- "Before the most recent vote he (McCaskey) reminded his fellow owners how important it was to be polite during the presentations, earning eye rolls throughout the room. As for the lagging cash flow, one owner suspects that the Bears intentionally turned down a marketing deal, citing a supposed conflict with one of the league's national sponsors, in an effort to keep profits low enough to avoid contributing to the league's revenue-sharing pool."

  • Its not the Bears team its the Bears name

  • ok, whether or not walter payton did indeed to steroids, honestley who cares. everyone did them back then. He is still the greatest overall football player to ever play.

The O'bradovich part is believable. i have read about how he had money problems i think it was and how he was struggling.

The McCaskeys are idiots. I cant wait till they sell the franchise because they are horrible owners anyway. When you ganna get the book published

  • hey plz dont freak out on me, but payton isnt the best player ever, hes the 2nd best, i like payton kinda, but the best is barry sanders.

  • Chicago Bears Math: Regular season record during O'bradovich playing/mentoring era

    1962-2007 = 344-346-6.

Minus Ditka era - 106-62-0, because O'b said Ditka forgot where he came from, 238-284-6.

  • 3 CHEERS FOR THE BEARS... ...Plus 11% Sales Tax.

  • i thought about it...when it happened...and hey.....this is chicago.

  • My cousin played on the Bears for a few years in the late 70s. I have plenty of Payton stories. Also, look what he dies from. They almost all do roids, even your hero Walter.........

  • awesome video. The bears are my second favorite team. my favorite are Cleveland Browns. I will probably be at the game in the preseason on August 30th.

  • Is this a techno version of the X-files theme? Should have gone with the original, if that's the case.

  • HA!! I used to work for S&S Auto, in Schaumburg!!!

    How weird to see this...

  • omg and Dan Hampton is my step uncle too

  • i heard payton shot his bus boy
