that acr is a pretty crazy ride... road and track tested it in their march 2008 issue (maybe feb?) and it pulled 1.12g's. true, it's not the best car to be driving on the street, but 600hp and 1.12g's for under $100k is pretty awesome...

I don't own an Acura, but the technology in them is first rate. Styling is personal, so can't comment there. So unless you just dislike the styling, your comment is ridiculous.

Mind you, I own an Acura and I like it, but first rate tech? Yes, styling is personal (certainly was my opinion below), but some things are obvious; like most people would agree that the Pontiac Aztec has a horrible design. Your response makes no sense. Why do you say "rape" in your generally terrible comment? Honda (Acura) is one the most awarded, successful (race wins) car companies in the world. Variable valve timing, oval piston engines, highest power output per liter (normal aspiration) engines, reliability (check any metric on this) and fuel efficiency. I'm an engineer and I know cars. There are other good ones, but few match Honda overall. Care to debate facts on this?

The new RL & TSX are a prime example of Honda/Acura resting on their laurels. These offerings provide very little, compared to competitors, in the realm of design or tech. It's difficult for me to find anything new and/or innovative - nothing makes me excited about these vehicles. It's also spurious to assume that these cars will be great because of the maker's history; this is hardly a transitive marker.

I will not debate facts with you regarding Honda's history...obviously, it is a reputable one. However, I would say that Audi and BMW are more innovative, at least in the last decade. I will also stand by my opinion, as in these two models will not sell well. BTW, what are the advantages of oval pistons? The advantages of this design are unclear to me.

The Corvette is an original design,no offence,based off of the 1952 Oldsmobile F88 concept.The Corvette started more as a rival than a child of the SL.And in all respect,I gotta say that the 300 SL and the Corvette look nothing alike and yes the first few years of the vette wernt the best performance wise,but whos to say the 300 SL started off as a high performance car its self?When they started off both the Vette and SL had weak motors and were both slow.Oh before I was talkin bout the viper.

actually the 600hp Viper is faster than the Z06.Not the 0-60mph, but after 60mph and you go above that 100mph mark...its all Viper. And for a lil more than the 510 hp Viper. And Corvette is making the ZR1 again with suppose to be around 620hp. But over 100k....so, I think the Vette is overpriced now.

yeah but the vipers are around 100k,vettes are around 100k pretty even but a ZR1 does 0-60 in under 3.2 sec,1/4 mile in 10.5 sec and has a top speed of about 220 mph,but yeah Its gonna be fun watchin two $100,000 american muscle cars blow $750,000 dollar Ferraris,Porsches,and Lambos off the road,for about 1/8th the price.Thing tat sucks is,all the european"exotics" get 12 miles to the gallon,and we (the US) have to pay for it.But s far as the ZR1 being overpriced,it eats cars 8X its price so....
