She wasnt implying guitars and such with the comparison to death metal. It was more about the energy of the music. Although some of the early works do have synthesized electric guitar in it but thats about as far as that went. It would be fucking awesome if Wes Borland would join Combichrist for atleast one album or an EP... That shit would be tight son!
lmao what would be awesome if Gorgoroth and Combichrist did a cross over album. Think about it. The biggest name in EBM and the biggest name in Black Metal, both from Norway, doing an album together. the music would be sickening!
Who says he merged metal with techno? I would say it's more likely he carried on the project of bands like Skinny Puppy, who had already introduced an aggressive style of electronic music.
Skinny Puppy made me daring. ;) I of course was not making quality judgements, saying that Combichrist could ever replace Skinny Puppy, but rather that they probably more directly influenced LaPlagua than some fantasy of merging Slayer with Daft Punk. O_o
Most of the time when someone seems to be a real big ass they realy aren't.Andy would be a realy awsome guy to have a chat with some day.Doing what he wants to do with his music just makes the music better.
Do some more drugs Andy... seriously...
