  • at 8:16 your tach is reading 0 too, be careful with the FAA, the tachometer is a required instrument for VFR day. Check part 91.205

  • @rontolon08 I know about the Tach! While in the air and enroute Cedar Key we suddenly experienced an unusual and somewhat scary sound from the engine compartment. Of course we started looking for places to put the Piper down, but as the engine continued to run perfectly and just the Tach was lost, we decided to continue to our destination.
