Madden's taclking is major ass. The game sucks dick more and more ever year and I hate gameflow the most because it allows people that suck at madden to be good. That stupid camera on the kickoff and field goals are mega pointless.

Fade routes are so easy to intercept, use a DB with a high rated jumping skill and you can pick it off more then half the time or knock the receiver out of bounds

I just played a guy who did this all game...no matter how many defenders were there...he was also using the Chargers...only thing I could do was hit stick and hope he'd drop the ball...there were only a few times where my defender was able to knock the ball away

Yeah, it's called "Rocket Catching." You could do it with virtually any route with a bit of user skills. Try it with the streak route - big plays all day.

This is real cheap lots of people do this in the red zone. I try to user the play like usual and I can never get in proper position and miss the ball at its highest point. Usually I do have safety help and rely on decking the receiver and hope he drops the ball.

Stuff like this is best saved for key times in the game. Using it a few times per drive will only make someone smart and be able to defend it more ofter. You must mix it in with streaks so that way when the defended users the player making him backpedal you throw deep to the endzome.Also switch sides of feild sometimes....On the defensive side double cover him. Bump the Db and user the safety over the top. I good safety play will eat this up more times than not.

i faced someone who did this to me every play of the gm and the i could not stop it. i got lucky and picked it a few times. but that was cause i put 4 guys on that one guy but even with that the rest of the field was opened up. i played with my rams so just imagine lmao. i had him 31 31 with 2 mins left in the first quarter he went for it on 4th and 20 on his 10 yardline and got the first down i quit after that cause this play is so cheezy. It is stoppable but positioning is key and use LB and not Y and you'll get it it's not 100% but it works also you can blow up the Wr and he'll drop it.

That cuz CPU is taking control of the defense. I could bat that ball down anyday. It works best in the endzone with Calvin Johnson and in my Madden 12 franchise, Megatron ad Desean Jackson or my wideouts and Cam Newton is my QB.

this is actually a glitch when in the endzone. literally let the receiver catch for you. and the way to defend it is to SWAT!! its a glitch because if defending your man will not jump if you try to intercept!!

I don't think that it's cheap. This is literally, the only type of jump ball in Madden. If you throw a jump ball out on a streak, the receiver and defender will try to perform and over the shoulder catch, every single time. And if you use this fade route on the goal line or ten to 15 yards out, it should work like it's supposed to. If Calvin Johnson, Roddy White and Julio Jones and Fitzjerald jump up for a jump ball fade, they'll catch the ball over 99% of Cornerbacks and safeties. Its not cheap

@atl jonesbro i see what your saying but its still uneccesary to back up your DB to make him square on the reciever. The only time i do that if my opponent is sending his reciever in a 2-step motion to avoid the bump and run.Then i would move my DB back a couple yards to still get the bump animation goin otherwise the WR will just run right past him. But as far as the money fade routes go user controlling your DB to jump early stops it almost every time especially if the DB has good position.

this is not skill and its super easy to stop.. just user contol your corner back and jump.. if you have the inside you have the advanatge by blockin the WR out with your body for an interception.. Add a hint of safety help over the top for a pick6. or play it safe with a swat.. either way this kinda fade runnig will get you a quick 0-12 record in an online ranked match

@Boi1da254 Actually you're wrong because I ran this on my friend and many times who couldn't even jump to contest the ball when he tried to user it. The best way to stop it I've found is to manually back up the guy manned up with the receiver so he can be squared up which makes it easier to stop it. Plus if you're over there using the fade the opens up the rest of the field against the CPU. No one ever said it was skill either.

You can't blame the people who think these are money plays though, because so many people who play Madden online try to let the CPU play defense for them (they play DLine) and you can't do that or you'll get burned by plays like this all day. If you're halfway decent, you just click on and swat it.
