  • makes me remember Kill Bill, thumb up guys if that makes you remember Kill Bill too. <3

  • @Vkviruskiller yeah i remember rewinding it over and over

  • Lee Van Cleef es el amo!

  • I watched this without subs back then so couldn't understand much, but Lee is a walking Moment of Awesome.

And this music. I'm forever thankful for Kill Bill using so many great musics, looking them up led me to these films.

  • There are only two things good about this film. One is Lee Van Cleef and the other is this song.

These two things are enough to make this one of my favourite westerns.

  • EL GENERO DE PELICULAS CON GRANDES TEMAS ES UNA CONJUNCION QUE NO DEJA MAS QUE VERLAS DE NUEVO ESAS ERAN PELICUALAS Y TEMAS QUE NO MUERES

  • Mr. Lee Van Cleef, we need you in Mexico right fuckin' now!!!!

  • Lee Van Epic

  • excellent movie

  • what is the point of this video?

  • Its Revolver Ocelot!!!!

  • Execelente ator, faz muita falta...!

  • This is the sort of song that plays when the lone warrior walks off in to the distance, solidifying his iconic image forever in memory as the sun sets before him on his never ending journey.

  • le soleil Morricone a éclipsé Luis Bacalov mais ce morceau est particulièrement magnifique.Ici, Bacalov atteint le niveau de son maitre.

  • what movie?

  • @Ibringthetruth1 The Grand Duel. You can find it on a 20 westerns collection for 5 dollars, it's one of the five or six films on there definitely worth watching. They carry it at walmart last I was there but it was a while back

  • Even Morris and Uderzo designed a Lucky Luke character based on Lee Van Cleef

  • kill bill :3

  • царе

  • Mítica canción

  • Fuck heart attack!

  • im a bigger fan than everyone of yall anyway i had all his movies R.I.P LEE

  • funny.. but he is cool.

  • the sound clarity of this video can damage your ears:(

  • @thequango

to read your lines made me laugh real hard! the greatest movie director of your generation? is that a generation, where directors get hyped like nothing based on past merits (jackie brown pulp fiction)? i think, that piece of shit-movie "inglorious basterds" showed impressively, how inspired tarantino has been lately. there's nothing left than boredom, stupid, sense- and meaningless violence. he's not worth to be mentioned together with real great directors like leone in my opinion

  • @SrPonsonby Inglorious Basterds, meaningless violence?

I doubt that I have ever seen any film violence more meaningful than that in that movie!

  • @Mullahgrrl

you should make a start on watching the second movie of your entire life :D

  • @SrPonsonby can you please tell me the name of this movie

  • @U2ISTHEBEST1

Il grande duello, spaghetti western from 1972, director: Giancarlo Santi, mediocre spaghetti western, but Van Cleef outstanding as always! ;-)

  • Took me way to long to figure out what movie this was called.... (the title kinda gives it away)

  • i'm so sure that Lee van Cleef is the only one beats Chuck Norris

  • @mmeikol also eastwood can beat him

  • Lee was so suave that he never had to say much, directors and producers were even afraid to approach him personally, therefore extinguishing the likes of John Wayne, Clint Eastwood, Charles Bronson, Burt Reynolds, James Garner and even Chuck Norris.

  • @mmeikol clint eastwood kicks the shit out of both of them

  • @mmeikol Bruce Lee would've been, but he died.

When Bruce Lee feel, that was the only time chuck norris shed a tear.

That tear was his pent up rage of losing his master.

An 8.5 R.S earth quake then happened shortly afterwards.

  • @mmeikol Wrong, because such would imply that Clint Eastwood can beat Chuck Norris.

  • @mmeikol

He was sure a lot meaner looking.

  • @mmeikol Bruce Lee did beat Chuck Norris :)

  • To be honest, Quentin Tarantino is the only one who is helping ennio morricone live in amongst the new generation. Respect sir!!!

  • @insertintube

tarantino is a sick mind, who's adorning himself with borrowed plumes because of a lack of own talent. nothing else.

  • Tarantino's talent or lack of it is a matter of opinion, but the truth is that todays xbox generation would probably never have been introduced with works of morricone or 70's cinema in general if it wasn't for QT.

  • @SrPonsonby you clearly have no sense of reality my friend. Tarantino is the greatest movie director of my generation who clearly loves, is inspired by, and pays homage to these amazing movie's and their accompanying movie scores, bringing new fans to a dying genre of film and music. And for that, I like insertintube applaud him!

  • This was movies worthy to watch!!!!!!!! Today you rarely see a movie like this, if ever.

  • lee van cleef is so cool as he calmly walks as though nothing were dangerous

  • the film is called The Grand Duel for everyone that is wondering

  • @1995marines thank you

  • lejos lo mejor junto a clint eastwood

  • Lee Van Cleef.. Clint Eastwood... Famous actors... I love westerns !!!

  • That guy with the gun looks like a young Ron Jeramy ,the Porn star. LOL

  • does anyone know what movie this is from?

  • @rampskater0102 wish I knew what movie it was too

  • lol at the end!

  • clint eastwood is a god and legend

  • i love Lee ..where is the final showdown?

  • BARQUERO

  • Lee Van Cleef...Death rides a Horse!

  • @TheSpoiler001 A pale horse?

  • @n00buler89 Sure! Why not a pale horse? Adds to the effect LoL!

  • @n00buler89 It's Johnny Cash.

  • kill bill music aint it?

  • @peteking01 yep

  • @peteking01 kill bill got the muzic from this

  • @bobbylee1557 Tarantino did it out of respect

  • I saw a porno from the 70's with a guy who could preform fellatio on himself... i swear it was Van Cleef

  • angle eyes, gotta love him.

  • grand acteur...plus il vieillissait , plus il était sympa.....pas comme certains...en France ..

  • in my opinion lee van cleef is the best western movie actor, van cleef was always faithful to the western genre, lee van cleef forever

  • Lee Van Cleef is God!!!!

  • @shizmobaron yes he is but god's gun wasn't god like

  • Música suprema. Y con este grande del cine en las imágenes se crea un ambiente único.

  • Música suprema. Y con este grande del cine en las imágenes se crea un ambiente único.

  • im new to westerns, lol, what movie is?

i came here looking for the grand duel (great song btw)

    and yea woo,tarantino!

  • The Grand Duel starring the great Lee van Cleef

  • thank you,i thought the title was a reference to the music by luis bacalov, i this song in the movie?

  • Yes it is.

  • imagine a plot someone would be capable of writing if they were isolated in a room from birth away from society with no experiences, sight , or hearing. they would probably have little or no ideas other than the basic eating and having sex which is basic instinct. tarantino has all these brilliant ideas because hes seen so many movies and has so references to build stories around. im guessing tarantino references other movies more than anyone else has ever done which is a cool personal style.

  • im with everyone backing up tarantino on this. look at the music industry, most music is taken from other music and then just reinterpretted. nothing wrong with that because the old stuff was good enough to influence the new stuff. people who make music and movies are influenced by something that happened in their lives that they have seen, heard, or experienced before.

  • Gran bel film

  • Could you imagine the great Van Cleef as Lamont Cranston playing the Shadow he got the skills and looks of The Shadow

  • these are called actors! at least they look like men :)

  • OK, I'm drawing a blank. Which film is this clip from?

  • The Grand Duel

  • And it's fun to know what films they come from, as not many does.

  • I completely agree with Damien - Tarantino pays homage to the great films by using their music. And as for none of Tarantino's films having originality as you claim andreiclawhammer, I would love to see your list of exactly what movies he stole every single scene, every line of dialogue, and every plot point from. To say it simply, you're going to have a hard time compiling that list pal. If I didn't know better, I'd say you're jealous that you can't come up with one original idea of your own.

  • Likewise! Say what you will about QT and the fact that he does tend to use other people's material, at least he's got superb taste in movies...I, for one, have discovered all of these great obscure films as a result of Tarantino's usages...and I personally don't give a rat's ass about those who make those accusations towards him

  • There's a difference between "stealing" a tune and paying tribute to it... At least, thanks to Tarantino, people find out about older and terrific films, like "The Grand Duel"

  • does anyone realize that the song was put in over the voices by the dude who put it on youtube???

  • Comment removed

  • kill bill stole this song

  • tarantion doesent stole it... he just bought the rights to use it!

  • @SvenJunior

If Van Cleef would still be alive, he would make short work with that halfwit Tarantino, because what that guy did was sheer blasphemy!

Tarantino made some good movies in the early days of his career, but nowadays he's nothing but a bitch of film investment funds pumping money in mainly boring blockbusters like "Kill Bill" or "Inglorious Basterds" ravishing the SPIRIT and QUALITY of GREAT italian western movies.

  • or...borrowed?

  • fucken awesome !

  • I viewed this video a few days ago and now I CAN'T GET THE SONG OUT OF MY HEAD! I've been humming it day and night. I love it but it's driving me mad!! HELP!

  • Beutiful theme. Van Cleef faced his Grand Duel far to early in life.

  • did Kill Bill steal this song?

  • Los 2 miticos, con Clint Eastwood y Charles Bronson y John Wayne.

  • I just on TV a few weeks back an old Twilight Zone epsiode with Lee Van Cleef and Lee Marvin it was awesome.

  • lol. I love the video info.

    "van cleef"

    Exactly.

  • lol he so reminds me of revolver ocelot from all the MGS's

  • yeahh

  • ocleot was based off him

  • haha yup.. thats awsome

  • @dannymanDJA LOL! on MGS3

  • WHAT SONGG

  • why dident he shoot him?

  • Fear... :)

  • Great movie!

  • Imagine him, Jack Palance and Bronson and Eastwood going at each other! it would be one hell of a fight!

  • Solid Snake (Old Snake) was modeled after him. My god. He actually looks like him too. I might not know Lee Van Cleef that much. But I became curious. I decided to check it out. I was suprised about this. I saw him in Escape From New York. Oh man.

  • its ocelot!

  • He's wearing his [Blackened Defias Armor]

  • Nice.

  • I just saw this movie today.

  • I used to whistle this song barefoot while in the patio washing my clothes in Mexico.

  • Van Cleef looks like a white Snoop Dogg and just as gangsta...

  • lol

  • i swear i can imagine nothing else but that time i stayed ay my grandmas house in mexico when i hear this...ugh it was so boring

  • in my village this man has been called the LEGENDARY KIE

    !

  • Van Cleef Guards the Cruel Barb. Amiright? ZING!

  • No it's, The Grand Duel

  • Which film is this from? Is it the Sabata Trilogy?

  • ths is frm the big showdown also called the grand duel... nt frm the sbata trilogy van cleef starred in 2 of thos (sabata and return of sabta) adios sabata had yul bryner taking over as the lead
