  • Yes sir.. it matters...

  • David was a supporter of Israel, he spoke the truth. Yeshua used him in a mighty way

  • What is all this Calvinism garbage? After all who is apollos? Who is calvin? We are not to identify with man but with Christ! Repent of theological Idols! Stop exalting man! Without the Spirit of God Wesley Calvin, Billy Graham are nothing! We should admire them for the sheer fact that they were empty vessel's completely yielded to Gods will for their life to serve the people of that time! I get upset when I hear people wielding the sword of Theology rather than the sword of the spirit of truth

  • May God bless him his words touched my heart.

  • this video totally wrecked me and really made me think about how I feel for the cause to save the lost. i was speechless

  • Rest in peace Brother Wilkerson.. I love you!

  • it was infact this exact speech that made me Grow in my faith ten fold, may the lord be glorified

  • wow:}

  • What's the song tracks on here called?

  • Oh, this is stirring so deeply in my soul.... Praise the Lord for prophets like David... He just breaks it down for you... He is the real McCoy.

  • I have a tiny but precious evangelistic ministry to the Muslim people. They are very much hated. For what some of them have done. For whatever reason. They are created in the image of God. God has chosen millions from them to know the truth that is in Christ. Would you offer a prayer, an anguish prayer for the salvation of these 1 billion people that are following the deceived and the deceiver Mohammed who was deceived by Satan posing as a angel of light? Please do. It is God's time for them...

  • @AllahuAkbarHoly amen:}

  • @AllahuAkbarHoly I will. Bless you!

  • Some people recomend preachers open with a joke, keep it light, add light hearted anecdotes, relate it to every day activities.

Wilkerson preaches with the fire of the Holy Spirit. Your life is opened up and exposed by his words, your motives, the very heart of your life in Christ challenged. I like light hearted words too, but it takes a hammer to brake stone, and not a feather.

i thank God for people like Wilkerson

  • our lord is weeping greatly

  • this is so sad and touching but very true:(....wow! so powerful!

  • I first watched this at Youth Camp.

    I bawled, it's so touching.

  • Lord I seek your heart......I crave your heart...teach me, O Lord, your anguish.

  • Oh God, Oh God... Let me know Your passion... Your anguish...

  • amazing ..thanks so much blessed my life

  • This is such an amazing word....I've watched it so many times and shared this with so many people! The Bride needs to be a Holy and SPOTLESS Bride for our Bridegroom!

  • "Oh' "GOD give us clean hands & pure hearts to be Your servants on Your coming so soon"!.....JETwillJOIE '2010

  • Nice video and it is all true,!!! Check it out

  • This is a powerful message from the heart of the Holy Spirit, spoke through his servant. Thank you for stirring my heart to prayer and weeping for the lost.

  • Why can't we all just get along and love thy neighbor as thyself? Start loving yourself...... like Jesus said LOL

  • Amen, Amen, Amen, Amen Love you brother in CHRIST.

  • "And being in anguish, he prayed more earnestly, and his sweat was like drops of blood falling to the ground" Luke 22:44

  • That was very moving. My husband and I enjoyed listening to it. Thank you so much for sharing. It's so easy to just "be happy and enjoy life" and let others do the work that Christ has called us to do. Praying for anguish.

  • Awesome audio, skelly! So true! No real conviction these days. Between the purpose drivel, seeker-sensitive Emergents & the Prosperity "Blab it & Grab It" crowd, sometimes I feel our faith is imploding. But there will ALWAYS be a remnant!

I've never heard David Wilkerson, but that sounds to me EXACTLY like John Piper. Is it?

  • Are you asking me if this audio is John Piper? The audio titled "A Call to Anguish" IS David Wilkerson. It is NOT John Piper. I would never upload anything by Piper on my YouTube account. He's a Calvinist and I never want to promote such horrible and unbiblical theology...

  • LOL....Right. Even though I'd read Wilkerson's name, it sure did sound like Piper, which seemed odd because I know he's a Calvinist.

Wilkerson is spot on about this matter though. You have some excellent uploads.

  • That's too bad. I'm a Calvinist, but I know there are many godly nonCalvinists with a message worth hearing, as your video shows. As long as Christians label each other's distinctives as "horrible" instead of learning to work together, we're not going to have the impact Wilkerson longs for. Thanks for the video, though.

  • Maybe you should go tell all your Calvnist teachers and friends the same thing. Start with LaneCh's channel. It is very ironic to me that when I call the teachings of Calvinism horrible, Calvinists complain about it. Yet, they won't do the same thing with their Calvinistic friends. That's called hypocrisy.

As long as Calvinism is around there is no chance for REAL revival. It is only when we take away all the excuses of sinners and professing "christians" that we will see revival!

  • The 1st Great Awakening of the early 18th century was led by Calvinists like Edwards and Tennant. The most effective evangelist of that century was Whitefield, a Calvinist. The 2nd Great Awakening began in 19th century Calvinist revival meetings on the frontier. Calvin's students founded thousands of churches.

Real Calvinists love evangelism, but there are some bad ones around. I don't like it when Calvinists go out of their way to bash nonCalvinists. We're all in this together.

  • Consistent Calvinists have nothing do to with evangelism at all. Inconsisten Calvinists call them "Hyper Calvinists". Whitefield and Edwards helped bring revival by preaching messages they were NOT Calvinistic at all.

They preached messages as is all their hearers had the ability to respond and as if they could DO something about their condition. If Unconditional Election is true, there is NOTHING that any sinner can do about their position. God has to do it all- Monergism...

  • I don't hold to a tag of Calvin or Arminius, Give me Christ. I was asked by someone to pin me to a group, he asked me "Are you saved because God chose you, and saved you in no part of your own? Or did you make the step towards God?" My response was simply, I don't care. I was dead, I was lost, I was without anything. Now I am alive, I am washed clean, saved, I now have all of Christ and am grateful. I don't care how I got here, all I know is I am. Give me Christ and those who preach Christ

  • @stephjh2006 ...All I know is that I was blind but now I see. Damn the schisms. Jesus Christ is the Way, the Truth and the Life!

  • @skellys3 Amen!!!

  • nope it's david wilkerson lol

  • wow, that was really powerful. I'm stirred.

  • God saves such as be of a a broken and contrite spirit...

  • Amen!

  • Just in time... I was stirred deeply within. Thank you.

  • The LORD used the Cross and the Switchblade to lead me to Christ in 1973. This is a man of integrity and full of the Holy Spirit.

  • It's so true how churches are sweeping things they are wrong under the rug. Obeying what you are told by God and by obeying his word is truely the only way to live that happy life, even though as a christian it means sacrifice, and many times sacrifice of our own selfish wans.

  • The failure of God's people to obey his word, even to the point of causing others not being able to attend the church they love by using the judical system of the world. These people get what they they think they want, but they are deliberately disobeying God and his word by doing so, the failure of the church to address this when they know it's going on only makes things worse. Only true happiness can come when God is obeyed.

  • This how I began my missionary journey,

I read David Wilkerson's book, "The Cross and the Switchblade". From that moment what had been my church was too lukewarm. I needed to follow God and not wait for endless committee meetings and food festival groups, and ethnic trivialities that carried no meaning toward prayer and loving the neighbor.

Here was a book written out of service to God and not a form of Churchianity PR.

I hope people will continue to read it and act on it.

    Carol Bacha

  • Lets all Act upon it, this is reality, i feel like Christianity has been water down since the early church's that today it has no taste, lets all have a prayer life starting today, for this country... Lord help us all to seek you only for you and nothing else cause you are the only thing that matters Amen.

  • POWERFUL.

  • So moving.........
