405 squat, okay. 405 overhead press behind the head..well.....thats fucking impressive...this dude has a shit load of muscle if he can balance that weight and push it up behind his head. I cant deadlift but 60 lbs more than that lol. Fuckin nice
@xX600clubXx roflmao are you retarded ??? lol genetic calfs lmfao you train any muscle propperly and give it enough recovery time you can build it up pmsl GENETIC HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHa

His calves looks like mine, and Im only 95kg half muscles half fat and do not work out my legs since over a year cause of accident. What does that say about his calves?
Awesome. That's strength combined with explosive power. Screw the haters. Most of them can't even squat 225. I'm a 300lb bodybuilder who has never been super strong for my size, so I find this sort of strength inspiring. The human machine at work!
what is the purpose of this? momentum is doing a lot of the work. is it just to get joints used to heavier weight? Otherwise, I fail to see why you'd do this versus strict presses.
@kenfo0 The purpose of this??? 1. r u dumb? 2. momentum is not doing alot of work. All hes doing with momentum is to raise the bar a little from his shoulder, to avoid injury. That position puts a lot of stress on ur rotary cuff and if u try it without using momentum, ur asking for an injury. 3. SHut up w/ the "strict form" already. I'm annoyed. Most people who do "perfect form" they don't gain strength as much, and they curl like 30 lb.
@nevermoregg 1. YOU are stupid. You wrote "r u dumb" and "momentum's got nothing to do with it" when it CLEARLY does. AGAIN, YOU STUPID ASSHOLE: You are not answering my question about the vid. WTF assholes like you feel the need to flap your gums when THOROUGHLY ignorant is beyond my understanding, but you assholes are ABSOLUTELY everywhere.
@kenfo0 Cause I thought u have some "Common sense" moron. I have no info? Then pls correct me, and don't repeat "ur an idiot" over and over again. It proves NOTHING. And pls correct me with ur real life proof too, not just theories. Do a strict shoulder press, and then do a push press. See how much more u can do with push press. DO IT AND THEN TALK. Little bitch hiding behind a comp and talking sh when u probably do 100 lb press with ur "strict form"
@kenfo0 The purpose is to develop explosive power. Guys like Kevin train shoulders and other exercises both strict and with th aid of momentum. Another reason would be in the competitions you allowed to use momentum to get the weight up and the biggest lift wins, so it's foolish not to use it.
@xNewAgeWarriorx i didnt heard otherwise, i just feel that when i do some dead lift i dont really use my legs or maybe its because my legs are so strong and my lower back isnt, maybe thats why i feel like i dont use my legs when i dead lift!
@howcanthishappentome hey dude Deadlift has nothing to do with your legs its all about your lower back cause i can push like 850-900 pounds with my legs but i cant deadlift 350 pounds so your legs doesnt help you deadlift...
Btw that guy is really freaking strong even if he has small legs...
@SuperTongpo no, he would be more well rounded losing muscle in the process. don't come around and talk about crossfit like it enhances everything son, this is specialized work. currently, i'm back on crossfit after like 3 years to get myself back up and lose some body fat while building a base to get bigger.
FARRKKK i would never like to see sumone do this excersise again :O that is sooo dangerous especially if some noob trys this out, they will be sorry once they get a buldging disc
One of the World's strongest men happens to have smaller caves... So? When you deadlift 1000 pounds you can talk... Plus he's not a body builder who has to keep his body proportionate... He competes in strength which he owns considering he is one of the worlds strongest men... SO hush
@werm2008 I understand what your saying man, and I agree. But doesn't it feel better in the sense that when you get to a point where you can lift big with no steroids or supplements you feel more prideful, yet in a way now you can say that your "natural"?

well most people can barely pick up 405 an inche off the ground and this guy throws it above is head, cmon why is anybody griping, im satisfied... great vid
lol the fact that people are talking shit about Kevin Nee's calves is hilarious, this guy can squat like 750+ pounds raw, it's apparent anyone here talking shit about this guys legs has no idea how power lifters and strongmen train, it's not body building, not a most muscular point competition lol if you ask me i'd rather look like thi guy then anyone of those those vain thong wearing, orange fags on stage any day
Super thumbs up holy shit. I'd rather squat/deadlift and actually BE strong than get pump and work teh gunz0rz and look like a fucking idiot with biceps anyday
@quyiter What you don't realize is that most bodybuilders (especially pros) are also really fucking strong. I have all respect for strength athletes, but that doesn't mean you should act like a shit head and bad mouth another sport just because you don't get it.
I'm not talking about professional bodybuilders. Ronnie Coleman Squats 800+ and I know many others have huge numbers aswell. I have all the respect in the world for those guys.. in fact what they do is significantly harder than a powerlifting because timing cycles micro managing food intake is critical many times moreso than any other sport. The people I'm referring to are your frat boys and gym assholes who act tough and think because they look the part, they know what's going on.
@quyiter Yeah.. Ronnie Coleman weighs 320 and Deadlifts 800 1 Time. Derek Poundstone is 310 and gets angry if he doesn't deadlift 800 pounds TEN TIMES. Kevin Nee is perhaps 23 now? Imagine what 15 more years of training does (Ronnie is 46 and has been on juice since before Kevin was born...). Powerlifters and Strongmen also have a HUGE requirement for managed nutrition. The biggest difference is that they don't take fistfuls of diuretics to dehydrate their fat cells for competition. We EAT
@powerlifter1188 i agree to an extent. i mstorng for my size as well, and soemtiems im like whats the point if im small. kevins calves look lie a school girls. his elgs are brutally strong but his calves look lie a 15 year old guys who doesnt work legs.
@powerlifter1188 too shay i agree. its funny my legs are muscular but not like bodybuilder muscular , infact not much different from most football players but i squat for reps almost 4 times my own body wieght. that guy has got some strong delts whats hes trianningprogram like
@powerlifter1188 What you don't realize is that most bodybuilders (especially pros) are also really fucking strong. I have all respect for strength athletes, but that doesn't mean you should act like a shit head and bad mouth another sport just because you don't get it. Most strength athletes are great, so are most pro bbers. If you think it's about vanity that you clearly don't get it. There is nothing wrong with that but still show a little respect.
the calves thing pisses me off too. people think if you dont have calves then you dont train legs. thats why so many pro bodybuilders have implants cause genetically you either have them or you dont.
@DiamondRKOCutter While those are some extremely impressive lifts (good lord, and he just casually catches them on his traps!), they're not military presses. I would call them behind-the-neck push presses.

There is nothing wrong with that but still show a little respect.

the calves thing pisses me off too. people think if you dont have calves then you dont train legs. thats why so many pro bodybuilders have implants cause genetically you either have them or you dont.

the dudes military pressing 400 fuckin pounds an douchebags say stuff about his calves? where in the video is their a mention of calves?
DiamondRKOCutter 2 years ago 2
@DiamondRKOCutter While those are some extremely impressive lifts (good lord, and he just casually catches them on his traps!), they're not military presses. I would call them behind-the-neck push presses.
