I prefer this soloist to ones I've heard in other a cappella renditions of this song. She's able to retain good technique while still honoring that guy who originally sang the song. Two thumbs up.

Think about how the soloist might feel if she read your comments. It's fine to prefer one performance over another, that's personal taste, but there's no need to be an asshole about it, guys.
I think this girl did a great job, and so did Anya in the original one.

I know the soloist, her name is Caitlin, and she did read those comments. She was hurt, to say the least. I agree with you, both soloists did a great job and they both sing differently and have different ways of expressing their emotions through songs. So guys, don't be an asshole about it, it only hurts people and screws up their confidence.
