I want to follow St. Francis and St. Paul so badly.. but I have to break free of my school debts first. It's not an excuse, I just don't think the Church would appreciate bearing my burden...
@cheesemonkey1990 My calling is to be apart of a kind of roaming Order: no extra shirt, staff, shoes, or supplies; implore priests and laity to repentance, renewal, and edification; no staying put for very long without the Spirit's direction. I guess it's like St. Francis in his beginning or St. Paul throughout, but I haven't really found any Order that is doing that through my research. Does any come to your mind?
as far as roaming and a serious vow of poverty? Missionaris of Charity for sure. The CFRs pretty much stay put where they are, the MCs roam the world. You could be sent to Africa, India, S. America etc.
@foster21 try the Franciscans of the Immaculate. I joined them about 10 months ago. We are missionaries in the strictest sense of teh word. We work along side Mary as her absolute property, her slaves to promote the Gospel of Jesus to the farthest corners of the earth.
Thank you for posting!!!! We must continue to promote these wonderful Friars, and let's not forget the Sisters!!! :) I believe I have a vocation to the Sisters, so the Friars are very dear to my heart. :D
Love this video. I've had the honor to meet and spent some quality time with some of these guys.

that is the more prudent thing to do. free your debts up and then you can take the habit. do you have any idea which order you would join?
