This is such a beautiful performance, but I dislike it when he shouts. He is an amazing singer and an excellent songwriter, I don't understand why people don't just respect him, how can you critisize something like this?! Regardless of wether some like this music or not, they must have the decency to respect it? I complain about people like Rihanna who don't even write their own music, but I still respect that some people like her. Some just have such narrow minds, those people are called cunts.
@amywadsworthX but the shouting makes this song not just good or great, but phenomenal. the passion and pain jumps out and slaps you in the face. the lyrics would not have nearly as much impact if he just sang them like the rest of the song.
Genuinely, Frank Turner is probably the best lyricist of recent times. I suggest anybody that hasn't seen him live before go and see him asap... he's passionate and you can see that he means every single word he's singing. The loyal army of fans that he's got make a gig a fantastic place to be, every single fucking person sings along... going to his gigs renews my faith in humanity a bit. Fucking sad? Yes, but true. This dude brings tears to my eyes.
I can just listen to that "Well honestly your honesty...." bit over and over again, the pure passion he sings it with it ridiculous, control in his shouting aswell, not sure many could ever probably cover this.
I definitely will too, but seeing as he's from england I doubt he'll come over to the States very often. He went to Austin, Texas where my best friends lives and she was working till midnight and wasn't able to see him. Fail.
they rung last orders really well in time with music lol. my fave Frank turner song ever, so much emotion in every performance of it he does, when i saw him live i got chills when he played this
this is my definite favourite FT song. just sends shivers down my spine when it reaches it's crescendo. the vocals are understadedly tough to sing i'm sure, there's some mad guitar skills and the lyrics are so powerful. absolutley awesome performance!!!
In my opinion this is the best song ever written and this is probably the best performance of it. Quite what the fuck was with that poor reception I'll never know!
dont worry man, it's only at the mint, there were probably like 4 people there haha!
but i must agree, he fucking nailed that one. god knows why he put so much soul into such a tiny performance. spose he's one of those guys who always gives it his all.
I find the 3 hand claps at the end so beautifully ironic at such talent and outpouring...

I love how he gets so intense, so outragously emotional, then ends it with, "And there you go."

So true. Majority of the bands/talents I like are from their too. It's so hard to keep up on their tours. Danngittt

Ok, I think Fran Turner is great, but there are no mad guitar skills involved, believing that is just so very wrong.

All of his songs are amazing, all artists have good and bad songs but like 90% of everything i have heard by him has been amazing.
He really fucking went for it with that one though.
