McCain was the token Republican in the Keating 5 scandal.. he ended up being basically cleared, and the lawyer investigating Keating 5 wanted him dropped from the investigation.

Alot of Republicans have that problem.
That's why we're in the mess we find ourselves in. Never wanting to challenge this president & VP, and never wanting to provide oversight for the 1st four years.
