I Note Tony B. Kept his jacket on ....No tell tell signs of B.O on his 'infamous white shirt press conference' ...Apparently he ONLY HAD 45 MINUTES ANTI-PERSPIRATION COVER! TODAY HE NEEDED AN UMBRELLA!
Tony Blair made a bad decision to go to war, Scott Ritter gave good advice when he was the best expert on Iraq weapons. Blair now demonstrates his stupidity by saying he believed there were weapons of mass destruction when there was overwhelming good , real, evidence to the contrary. Now he shows his contempt for the British peoples inteligence and indeed for all those who have died on both sides. You will never see him on the front line in Iraq.
Justice for innocent Iraqi people for their anguish , suffering and destroyed country in criminal war and occupation, led by war criminal and lair Toni Blair, this is a great test of justice for great and respected nation of GREAT BRITAIN,also for International Criminal Court.
What hypocrisy ...it was Rumsfeld's arms trade with Hussein that was the smoking gun.....US admin should tried for Aiding and Abetting Dictators and war criminals......
You anti war leftist fucks are a trip. You're the first to denounce supposed American war crimes yet you yawn at the daily barbarism of our islamist enemies. Have you ever attended an anti-terrorism rally condemning the intentional targetting and mass murder of countless Iraqi civilians as they were simply standing in line waiting to vote for the first time in their lives?
Ever participated in a moment of silence when hundreds of innocent people are killed in a busy market place by an "allah ackbar" screaming islamofascist? Of course not. And where do you so called anti-war types even begin to get on your high horse and declare yourselves morally superior to people who supported the policy of regime change in Iraq? As if we were the ones who have the need to explain ourselves and to justify our positions.
Let's take the time to imagine what would have resulted had the U.S. government heeded your council shall we? In the interest of saving time let's start with the first Gulf War at the earliest. Saddam Hussein would be the owner and occupier of Kuwait. That country, which was an arab and muslim state and a member of the arab league and the United Nations, would simply no longer exist today but would rather be under Saddam's iron fist.
And with the huge amount of excess wealth that he would have received from stealing a huge percentage of the worlds oil supply we now know he was planning to use those funds to further advance his WMD programs (according to the post-war investigations mind you) and to fuel his war machine for the lovely purposes of invading and occupying even more nations in the region.
Here's what else would have happend: all of the muslims in south eastern Europe would now be ethnically cleansed from the entire continent. Something which the islamofascists who accuse us of being Zionist Crusaders with the goal of destroying islam convientently forget to mention. Not to mention that the taliban would still be in control of Afghanistan and al queda would still be their guests and Saddam and his deranegd crime family and his regime of henchmen would still be in power in Iraq.
And they'd still be terrorizing an oppressed people in a situation that can only best be described as a mass grave below ground and a concentration camp above ground. It's been estimated that well over 1 million Iraqi civilians were killed by Saddam's regime (sometimes with chemical weapons) and the sanctions that the anti-war left supported were starving millions of Iraqi's to death while Saddam built himself lavish palaces across the most ideal locations in ancient Mesopotamia.
And speaking of ignorance and a sense of disconnect, do you have any idea who the marsh arabs are and how they were treated under Saddam? Here's a brief summary: Their water was intentionally drained and their fields burned which created hundreds of thousands of refugees and easily killed tens of thousands. Now if I had that record I'd be EXTREMELY modest.
I wouldn't be demanding explanations from those of us who advocate that it's about time that we stop this continual appeasment of racist, totalitarian, barabric and imperialist tyranical regimes. And that we don't allow the same kinds of failings that were occuring in Iraq like those that took place in Ruwanda, Afghanistan, Bosnia, etc.
The supporters of regime change in Iraq and arab and muslim democracy take pride in our positions thank you very much. We especially take tremendous pride in our our Kurdish and Shi'ite Iraqi friends who took part in that struggle to save themselves from genocide and to establish a thriving free press and democracy based on the rule of law. Besides, we won in Iraq. No thanks to irresponsible and immoral supporters of leaving prematurely which would have resulted in widespread genocide.
what do you think about Tony Blair"s 2yr battle trying to cover up his role advising South Korean Oil company in Iraq, he also recieved 1 million from Kuwait royal family on advise on Oil. Your are just a number to be used be the Governments of the west, don"t think they give a shit about you, look how Bush treated the people of New Orleans after the Hurricane. Wake up please. Blair makes millions from Oil, from the country he invaded with Bush. Doesn"t this sound wrong?
Opposing a war is a not a left-right issue. US war crimes are documented, sometimes even boasted about. The May/June 04 ed. of Infantry Magazine reported that WP was used to attack directly, not just to provide a screen. A report in Field Artillery Magazine confirmed that WP "proved to be an effective and versatile munition [as] a potent psychological weapon against the insurgents. We fired ˜shake and bake' missions at the insurgents, using WP to flush them out.
It's surprisingly easy to know if a war was right or not in hindsight: Kosovo - yeah! Bosnia - yeah! Sierra Leone - yeah! Gulf War 1 - yeah! Gulf War 2 - fuck no! Korea - er, I've got no idea what this was about... WW2 - fuck yeah! Vietnam - no way! Falklands - yeah! Afghanistan - er, how can I decide?! It depends what's going to happen next...
It's very sad that the country that has produced such an artistic approach as Queen, say, would stoop so low into neo-conservatism.
I find it very puzzling indeed how leftist candidates like Brown, Blair and even Barack Obama could equalise the left with, say, globalisation and waging actual warfare for abstractions.
As a scholar I think in culture we need more forceful criticism of liberalism in the way of 1970s and 1980s. Otherwise there's a danger that liberalism conquers the world.
Our World is not safer. America's first and biggest partner in war in the Mid-East is Britain. Google ' Al-Qaeda say Britain is now number one target'
U.K is connected to Europe. 26 miles of ocean between France and England. One hour journey under the sea via the Eurotunnel... Britain is a thousand times more likely to be attacked than U.S because America is so far away from the rest of the World. See comments on my video Iraq Inquiry Tony Blair- Muslims claim they'll take over the U.K. soon
they cut out the audio when tony left his seat, shame as the people in that room expressed very clearly what they thought of this decietfull little man!Middle east peace envoy, thats a laugh as well as his faith foundation, hopefully karma bites him hard some day:)
Apparantly yellowcake uranium was found in Iraq and exported to the U.S...
But the yellowcake could have also been left over from the Osirak nuclear reactor in 1981 which was bombed by Israel. The Bush and Blair Administrations changed their objectives year-on-year. First it was to remove WMD's.
They found none. So they went on to say it was 'installing democracy' . Violent suicide attacks still hit Iraq on a daily basis .Iraq cannot really be called a democracy. More like a theory gone wrong.
"all these soldiers have been killed for the sake of oil"
The Iraq invasion was all about oil and the stability of the middle east. Billions of people's lives hinge on the fact that oil keeps our economies, transport, machinery etc running without it there would be mass starvation and disease.
If you had been following events you would Know that there was no connection whatsoever between 9/11 and Sadam's Iraq. In fact Al-Queda couldn't stand Saddam and Saddam couldn't stand Al-Queda. This was well know to western intelligence agencies long before our invasion. Bushes administration tried to dishonestly imply otherwise but have since been severely criticised by congressional inquiries for doing so.
I think one could argue that there is a connection between the terrorism that targets western societies and the autocratic states in which islamist fanaticism is incubated. So, there is no connection between the terrorists of 9/11 and Iraq but there is one between Iraq and the TERRORISM of 9/11.
Al-Queda where unable to function in Iraq before our invasion. Thanks to our invasion they, and other terrorist organisations, now thrive there. Our invasion has also acted as a recruiting tool in other parts of the world. There where a lot of paths we could have chosen re Sadam's Iraq, none of them easy and all with prices to weigh up. We just chose one of the worse options. I mostly blame Bush's puppet masters, but the vainglorious and deluded Blair needs his bubble bursting.
This was not a serious cross examination of Blair. In fact it amounted to a tame platform for him to trot out his well rehearsed excuses, carefully selected half truths, and masterfully spun exaggerations. If anyone could persuade the world that black is white, this is the man.
I find it disgusting that instead of using the inquiry to apologise for the 1m+ death toll (according to justforeignpolicy (dot) org/iraq) blair uses this opportunity to suggest we start yet ANOTHER war with Iran now!
War mongers like Blair always present things as if there is only two options ie invasion or appeasement. I only hope that Blair is kept well away from influencing future events. I can still scarcely believe he was made a Middle East peace envoy (someone in power has a sick sense of humour).
I think you are pervert who is self obssessed dingo who does not care about reality but lives in an abstract world where 70 virgins are a common belief.
i think you are an ending of an incestous relationship where your religion allowed your parents who are brother and sister to marry and produce you.
Dont be a post office give up the veil covering your brain and open your Soul.
BLAIR is not only a great leade...He is a man of intelligence. Get rid of all religious fanatics
I would like to take this opportunity to say that I am sorry to hear of any loss of life, be it Iraqi or troops, because the Iraqis deservedd better protection and the troops were put in there out of war profiteering, not necessity.
The reason he would not do an inquiry years earlier is because he was P.M and that would have shown him as apologetic. Now he is just Tony, and we see his real face of ignorance and hearltessness. Shame on the Labour Government.
This is how it works. Create an enemy, make a steretype in the media, get people to believe it, then make a war and make mony. Get a booster of another 100 years of western peace bought by innocent blood of victims, both British and Muslims.
I would have removed Saddam too. I would attack Iran before they blow Israel off the map. I would remove that mass murderer in Zimbabwe. I would invade Syria, Pakistan and wipe these terrorist animals off the face of of the earth.
Yes, kill more innocent people to keep the filthy overbloated system going. Murder more children to justify your lustful gluttony for oil, power and money.
Because their sons/daughters signed up to defend Britain in the event of war...that means a legally binding war, not some illegal invasion which had no physical evidence of the threat that Bush/Blair were saying. WMD's? where? regime change? all these soldiers have been killed for the sake of oil, Blair even mentions in the inquiry " what would the price of oil be now if we had not removed Saddam".
whats gonna happen to Blair now anyway? is he just free to continue raking in as much cash as possible with that fuckin ugly bag o'rats jokeresque wife of his?
Shouldn't Bush be facing a grilling in the courts or am inquiry in the states, that gaffe prone fucker would be bound to crumple and admit it was illegal.
YEAH! I can't get my head round bliar criticising Iran for "destabilising Iraq"!!! the little rat admitted 100,000 (decimal point in wrong place there war crim')dead Iraqis post his illegal invasion and occupation 18 Mar 2003 but, get this, he blamed the insurgents for this!!! is he f*cked in the head??!!??
De-stablization is largely caused by U.S Tony, not Iran, and your guilty of blindly following Amercia. Tony, the devout Christian, never knew that included backing illegal invasions which results in children dying also, if you've read your bible Tony you'll know what Jesus thought about that! you have blood on your hands.
The sad thing is, when it comes to US foreign policy Britain has no free will. Whatever ill conceived imperial adventure they concoct we seem doomed to follow no matter what, just to hold on to what little influence Britain has left in the world. Middle East peace envoy, its fucking poetic and bitter. Like making Abu Hamza Islamic envoy to Britain. Blair supported the dumbest president in US history and dragged us all through the shit, burn in hell you fundamentalist Christian cunt.
It should be obvious to all and sundry that the Chilcott Inquiry was a cosmetic exercise. The panel did not ask tough questions and Blair was given a easy ride.Certainly Blair was /is a liar and a man , professing to be a Christian , of little moral or spiritual backbone. What about Dr kelly /all the dead Iraqis and British soldiers dead -not a word of remorse or regret from Blair.I hope he gets his comeuppance. He is a disgrace to the British democratic system.I hope he rots in Hell.
thhem murdering saddam proves that the invasion was illegal ,had they let saddam live even if only in prison, he would have spilled the beans on a lot of issues that would have been embarrassing for the US/British governments.
They went in too gung ho on the basis of lies and now have opened a real can of worms, Blair now saying Iran needs dealing with, this war mongerer has helped speed up the inevitable nuclear war....nice one Tony you muppet.
yeah saddam held it together till the end pretty well i thought, he tried his best to remain dignified while he was murdered at the request of Bush and Blair.
Id really like to see those 2 muppets in the same position, probably would be creasing their sen' with shit n piss dribbling down their legs before the noose even went round their neck
'if you're going to have a police state,at least organise it properly'. an angry comment from a protester outside. i suspect that's some deceased soldiers family member.i don't blame his outrage.and perhaps he's not good with words, but it's not the attitude of the campaigners to bring blair and bush and every soldier who shot an iraqi civilian OR soldier to justice,i want to assure anyone out there, who doesn't understand the power of the bbc's editing department. shameful mi5 propaganda, that is
blair should have regrets cuz it was the attack on the twin towers that started the war. its been proven there were traces of dynamite on the structures of the fallen towers. thousands of victims died in those towers. blair shud have regrets
Sad thing is, now the British troops have left Iraq for good (they should never have been there in the first place) very few people really care much about this any more. Look at the pitifully tiny bunch of people outside the conference centre, most isolated & marginalised on the lunatic fringe.
I never voted for Blair, never supported him, was furious at his dragging the UK into this stupid war behind the US. But at least he has balls, & is consistent. I respect that. Even tho I don't like him.
What's funny is that they try to reduce the debate to did he have weapons or not - therefore was the war right or not. But so what if he did have `WMD's' - Britain's has them, the US, India, Russia, and China etc - who sets the monopoly on who can and who can't have WMDs. Ridiculous.
no you buffoon, my comment was written in reply to a comment which said the west had no right to a monopoly on wmds, an enemy like saddam with weapons of that power would be an enormous threat to Britain, that is what my comment was saying.
But a white so called christian terrorist like Blair is fine.
You should read some history books - have a look what Britain, the US and the rest of Europe has committed against humanity, against cultures and people around the world. They too should not have WMD's. But then I guess you think the rationale of the west is far superior than the backward races of the world!?
To Ufapaki: How is this relevant? I never claimed the 'west' was the devil in the world - I am just trying place the west on the 'atrocities scale' with the rest of the world - it is no better nor worse then many other nations - therefore why is it they should have the monopoly on who can and who cannot have WMD's. The west is by far in no ethical position to dictate.
And Combrudenn: Your illegible - learn how to structure a rebuttal then get back at me.
why not ... most afgans and iraqs see the brits as supermen , like i said.. this morning ,it must be hard being a women in the islamic world ,when you see the men in iraq and afganistan ..
yes, those races are backward, spare me your marxist dogma,i have heard it all before from the stop the war coailition, these races mean nothing to me, they are savages
We have no say in any matter. The government are just there to make out as if we have a choice.
The truth is that the decisions are not made by the leaders but by the REAL men in power - the Rockefeller family. Those who are above the governments. Yet they are absoloutely never mentioned at all and they are kept away hidden from the public as if they do not exist.
If you don't know then do your research. David Rockefller - mass murderer.
There is no such thing as freedom and democracy. Why run a country with which the power lies within the people? You think you have freedom and rights but you don't
Tony Blair is much to blame but then again he is a puppet to those above him who are the bankers such as the elite - the Rockefellers
Just google David Rockefeller and you will know what I mean. They run and control the governments. The governments are just there to make it out as if we have choice. But the thing is, we don't
george bush and blair must be put in jail because of their humanity crimes.both of them have killed thousands of inocent ppl of iraqis and british solider.they are criminals of anti humanity .

why are the families of dead soldiers angry at blair? it was their child's decision to join the army ffs
migit999 2 years ago
Because their sons/daughters signed up to defend Britain in the event of war...that means a legally binding war, not some illegal invasion which had no physical evidence of the threat that Bush/Blair were saying. WMD's? where? regime change? all these soldiers have been killed for the sake of oil, Blair even mentions in the inquiry " what would the price of oil be now if we had not removed Saddam".
Arcturo765 2 years ago
whats gonna happen to Blair now anyway? is he just free to continue raking in as much cash as possible with that fuckin ugly bag o'rats jokeresque wife of his?
Shouldn't Bush be facing a grilling in the courts or am inquiry in the states, that gaffe prone fucker would be bound to crumple and admit it was illegal.
Arcturo765 2 years ago
YEAH! I can't get my head round bliar criticising Iran for "destabilising Iraq"!!! the little rat admitted 100,000 (decimal point in wrong place there war crim')dead Iraqis post his illegal invasion and occupation 18 Mar 2003 but, get this, he blamed the insurgents for this!!! is he f*cked in the head??!!??
diosmio99 2 years ago

Arcturo765 2 years ago
and saddam took their kangaroo court execution like a real man.i would like to see any of these jellyfish in his position
gerryboy3699 2 years ago
yeah saddam held it together till the end pretty well i thought, he tried his best to remain dignified while he was murdered at the request of Bush and Blair.

In the Western art music tradition, vocal music arranged for four singers in an opera or choral work is referred to as a quartet.
Great works are performed not by strength but by perseverance."the act of persisting
"It may affront the military-minded person to suggest a reqime that does not maintain any military secrets."
If we knew what it was we were doing, it would not be called research, would it?"

blair should have regrets cuz it was the attack on the twin towers that started the war. its been proven there were traces of dynamite on the structures of the fallen towers. thousands of victims died in those towers. blair shud have regrets

Even tho I don't like him.
archeronthehill 2 years ago
What's funny is that they try to reduce the debate to did he have weapons or not - therefore was the war right or not. But so what if he did have `WMD's' - Britain's has them, the US, India, Russia, and China etc - who sets the monopoly on who can and who can't have WMDs. Ridiculous.

an islamic dictator should not have wmds, common sense

The thing is he did not have any you fuckin' idiot.
Have you been under a rock or something. Even Blair said they didn't find any WMD's.
shotta0121 2 years ago
no you buffoon, my comment was written in reply to a comment which said the west had no right to a monopoly on wmds, an enemy like saddam with weapons of that power would be an enormous threat to Britain, that is what my comment was saying.

But a white so called christian terrorist like Blair is fine.
You should read some history books - have a look what Britain, the US and the rest of Europe has committed against humanity, against cultures and people around the world. They too should not have WMD's. But then I guess you think the rationale of the west is far superior than the backward races of the world!?
greenmokey 2 years ago
mokey .. you should read you re history books .. how many times have muslim men invaded europe .. ?? was genghis khan white, what about the turks
ufapaki 2 years ago

Just search 'David Rockefeller New World Order'
thetalentedmrman 2 years ago
There is no such thing as freedom and democracy. Why run a country with which the power lies within the people? You think you have freedom and rights but you don't
Tony Blair is much to blame but then again he is a puppet to those above him who are the bankers such as the elite - the Rockefellers
Just google David Rockefeller and you will know what I mean. They run and control the governments. The governments are just there to make it out as if we have choice. But the thing is, we don't
