i wish i could hug Heathy in this part:( i think one of his best performances. i love his voice, his skin, his body, his hair, his eyes, his lips. he's too fricken cute.
the days last rays of sunshine cruise like sharks...i wanna try it your way this time<3
if you havent read the book read it! luke davies is a great writer! only book that truly broke my heart.
i guessing the life of an addict is not a very plesant one. I've seen that when addicts talk it sound pretty much like a rebaling on an on. somthing like the poem.
if u like this movie should watch requim for a dream or trainspotting both simular movies but slight difrences well trainspottin much more difrent but insane
Judging from the plot this film/book was probably influenced by 'The Panic in Needle Park' - you should all watch this, it was made in 1971 and has Al Pacino in it :-)
this film is so beaufyful!!!!!!!!!! i saw it yesterday and i cryed at all !!!! Heath you'ii be always the BETTER actor in the whole world!!!!!!!!! my heart will be always your!!!!!
no matter how many times you watch this movie, it always brings a new emotion. i dont think i could ever get tired of it. the book, movie and soundtrack just take you to a different place. one of the most beautiful & tragic love stories ever created!
I think she love him more then anything that is why she went on to becoming an addict she did all he wanted while he watch her destoy herself this happens not in the same way Candy did most weak character men do this to women whom want to be happy... heroine is the best next thing...
Dan didn't force Candy into the heroine as a way to win his acceptance or love or anything. He really didn't even want her in it that much. He just thought it was beautiful and he wanted to shared that with Candy. Most drugs do seem so incredible at first, but thats before they go bad. That's why at first thing with them were perfect.
i know , i know .. but it's so REAL , i mean , the movie , woow man , it's beautiful .. when you can stop , you don't want to , when you want to stop , you can't .. some true words there ..
does anyone know if there is a video of the scene where she's complaining to him about making noise, and the light keeping her awake, when she throws the ashtray at him?????
i love that scene too! then he watches tv under the blanket. that was so fukin cute. ive done that before. the whole movie was on youtube, but they fukin took it off. have you read the book?
yep! and its AMAZING. its by luke davies..if your looking for it. i got it at my local barnes and noble. idk if you have one in your town, but you can probably order it on amazon or something. iam sure they have it. the book is a little different, but its soooo good!
he didnt end it. it was a mutual thing even though there were no words spoken. they both knew that if they stayed together, then she would just go to square one, and he would never get better. i like to think that he gets clean, and like 5 years later or something, they reunite, and have a bunch of happy healthy babies :]
exactly, haha. He says, "I can't go back.' or something like that. Which is basically what Geoffrey Rush said at the beginning, "When you want to stop, you can't." So, Dan was saying, I can't stop heroine, but Candy was getting sober so they couldn't be together. It's really sad because he basically says, "I pick heroine over you" even though he loves her. :[
This is the only Heath movie I have ever seen and I'm glad it was the first. What an extraordinary movie by an extraordinary actor. Maybe this movie was all too prophetic, though, in a sense.
heath was my favorite actor, so 2 days ago, i watched every heath movie i could find that i haddnt seen. so i watched this one, and literally within that 2 days i watched this 854395849 times! fantastic movie, amazing scene, very intense. RIP!

Oh dear...I wasn't trying to be rude.
