why use the MIDIs from the game if the original CD had a soundtrack (you could play it in a CD player if you wanted. (and for the kids out there... NO, in "ancient times", your average CD player could not play MP3 files.)

for some reason the original midi file has some mixing issues...tons of bass, too much decay on the horns, and not enough of the harp arpeggio runs or upper frequencies on the snare...also the strings aren't as clean as they need to sound.
