  • God I fucking hate liberals like this fat hypocrite piece of shit.

  • wow what a fat faggot

  • Moore reminds me of Piggy from Lord of Flys aways getting picked on hey Moore if you hate this country so much why didn't you "GET THE FUCK OUT OF MY COUNTRY YOU STUPID PIECE OF SHIT" and if it wasn't for the the gun we would be probably still under British rule

  • Censorship YouTube faggot!

  • Security won't stop a sniper

  • He shot it you know he likes it :)

  • Michael Moore expounding on gun control is like Michael Moore expounding against obesity. Why does the left think it is less hypocritical than the right? Like Ted Kennedy wanting us to not have guns, while his bodyguard brings a machinegun with him onto grounds that are "gun free."

  • All The Occupy losers need to be Occupying these assholes houses.

  • Enough movie for security? Must be nice. Too bad I'm poor and live in Baltimore.

  • yeah free guns!!! i need one to protect myself from u, fat hypocrite. yeah raffle that gun, get an exercise Bike.

  • I'd go to that bank! Sign me up I want a free gun!

  • One word comes to mind- hypocrite.

  • MEXICO HAS THE MOST GUN CONTROL IN THE WORLD..AND YET THE MOST MURDERS!!! JUST LIKE WASHINGTON DC BANNED GUNS AND BECAME THE MURDER CAPITAL OF THE USA..(POINT) BANNING GUNS DOES NOT STOP CRIMINALS FROM KILLING YOUR ASS

  • And if he were to choose a healthy diet and exercise regularly he could avoid the issue entirely. It would seem that he has as little respect for his health as he does his country.

  • he would've been dead by now in a US single payer health care system. if he came to them with heart problems from obesity, they'd tell him to come back in a couple years.

  • This morbidly obese liberal elitist piece of trash doesn't understand or care that most people can't afford security and that police are only responsible for post incident response which can take 5 to 30 min or more for them to arrive. By then you've already been robbed, beaten, raped or murdered. I prefer to dial 911 while holding the intruder at gunpoint myself. It's also amusing that for a person who dislikes capitalism, he has used it to make a great deal of money for himself. He is the pos

  • Moore attained his wealth through suing people and releasing incoherent propaganda. You dont much more sleezy then that.

  • Michael has security so he doesn't need a gun!!! What about the poor Joe Smoo who isn't wealthy and have his own security. But of course Michael's right Nobody needs guns. IDIOT

  • Leftwing utopianists like Moore cloak themselves in moral vanity about the ugliness of the world but, when it comes to their own immediate self-interest, it's totally different. Welcome to the real world and what it means to deal with it Michael Moore. Hope your bodyguard is fully loaded (no doubt...)

  • BY SECURITY HE MEANS HIS SMELL

  • michael moore needs to choke on a dick and die...

  • What a lying, fat, stupid POS.

  • Get gun facts online at: GunFacts.info (download the PDF; GREAT facts!)

The 2nd Amendments is a RIGHT. It is not a right of need. It is a RIGHT to NOT be questioned. I'm a army vet, wife, & mother. 911 doesn't automatically save your life, unless you like waiting 5-30 minutes. Gun bans ATTRACT criminals; they like 'em defenseless!

  • he's going to raffle it off and raise money for a good cause? LMFAO, raffle off some those cheeseburgers you've been eating, it'd go a lot further...

  • Not everybody can afford to pay a security team. I'd like to see Moores reaction if they banned cheese burgers. Cheese burgers are more dangerous than my guns because my guns never killed anyone but cheese burgers kill everyday. Michael Moore who's gotta upcoming date with a heart attack is proof.

  • Michael Moore has armed security to take care of him, yet wants to deny everyone else the right to defend themselves. Why does anyone take this guy seriously? Does he think law abiding citizens are a threat to him? Does he think criminals are only a threat to him and nobody else? What is his problem with law abiding citizens?

  • p.o.s.

  • Key words here people is a "miracle whip gun" for fucks sake.

  • "...I'm thinking about raffling it off for a good cause." What a crock.

  • Larry King proving that he could be razor sharp at interviews. That simple question totally threw Moore, he was realy stumbling over that answer. Wouldn't you think Moore would have expected it? Obviously not.

  • I think he forgot to mention they do a background check and you need a certain amount of money to invest in the new bank account. Then they will give you a gun. I'd like to see some stats where a bank giveaway firearms were ever used in a crime.

  • jabba the hut over here....

  • Ok so Michael had a Gun Big deal! So What! You would all say he was a hipacrite or wouldent understand if he didn't!! He sold IT!!! Anyway!! Dosen't he have a NRA membership to! There are some guns which are useful for hunting like a 2.2 or a double barrel shot gun If you going Hunting that is! And have all the skills! BUT you Have to Ne Honest and Think what other than killing people would I do with a 9mm or a simi-auto assult rifle with like a 50 clip?

  • @gomikeygomikey go fuck yourself you ignorant faggot.

  • @gomikeygomikey Uh... target practice, or how bout maybe just shoot a pile of dirt because i think its fun. who the fuck are you to say I can't do that? just because your so fucking afraid of the world, doesnt mean we all have to be. fuck you that's all i can say.

  • @gomikeygomikey Is that even english? Damn I hope you don't shoot a gun like you spell.

The 2nd Amendment has nothing to do with hunting and everything to do with personal protection up to and including preventing government tyranny.

He sold it, but still has armed security. Nothing is changing the fact that he's a fat hypocrite and a power hungry communist.

  • @gomikeygomikey I would do with them exactly what they were designed to do. That is to defy all enemies of the Constitution - foreign & domestic - & to redress grievances against a tyranical government when speech is uneffective. The purpose of the 2nd Amend. is to ensure that The People have the tools to literally over-throw the Government in the event that such becomes necessary - or - to protect our sovereignty from foreign invaders in the event that Government is neutralized

  • lying son of a fat fucker. You make an anti gun movie and you said that you own a gun ? WTF is this ? He is a wanna be in the spot light hyprocrite.

  • What a dishonest DOPE!

  • Why would you need security for making movies that are controversial? Ask the man who made a cartoon about Muhammad, whether or not the cartoon was a determining factor in his death.

  • I bet his security team has fire power...

  • I'm 56 years old, have had guns since I was 7 years old ,never killed anyone the government didn't force me to, and probably never will I think everyone from 7 years old up should own a gun,and sort it out from there

  • Translation: Michael Moore has enough money (from his shamefully factually-challenged propoganda movies) that he can pay people with guns to protect him from the people he is aiding and abetting in their violent criminal pursuits. Only rich people are worthy of being protected, having civil rights, and ultimately, freedom. What an elitist scumbag.

  • @bddc201 well put, friend

  • How many 99 percenters have security guards? hahaha, the hypocrisy is obvious!!!

  • To say that guns don't people, you'd be correct. People kill people. Guns, however, are an effective implement of destruction and murder, and having relaxed gun laws enable destruction and murder as such.

  • @RToffler History, recent and old, prove otherwise...

  • So what we can take from this:

Michael Moore believes that poor people should be defenseless.

  • So what he is saying, is that as long as we all pay for our private security staff, we don't need to own guns.......

  • michael moore is the most american person out of all you guys, im from australia and we have very strickt gunlaws. so in australia we have less then 300 shooting deaths a year, in america you have over 11,000 can anyone see a difference stop having a go out him, when he sees a problem in america he wants to fix it. hes the most patriotic man in america for wanting to fix the problems over their. and i bet half of u havent even seen the movie.

  • @year72011

Population difference of 295 million people you moron! Michael Moore is a liar! It took him over a month to get that gun from that Bank which he got. He pesonaly asked them to give him that gun at bank so he could make his properganda nonsense.

Australia has a popuation of about 21 million!

USA has a population of about 315 million.

More people means more Crazies and more criminals!

    FAIL!

  • Comment removed

  • @year72011 I've seen Michael Moore's movies. Obviously you're kidding about him being "the most Patriotic man in America" He is against everything that made the U.S. great in the first place. Against the ideas of the founding fathers, against the U.S. Constitution, against the idea of people working hard and making a dollar (even though he has made MANY dollars) etc, etc. In the film he makes MANY idiotic claims, and even blames Dept stores for deaths because they sold the ammo! Wow.

  • @romansten9 whats so the american health system is great? no its shit do some research mate.

  • @year72011 Your correlations with the number of shooting deaths & the amount of gun control in a nation are quite interesting & part of the problem in communicating with people about guns. There are way more factors involved than laws.

The facts prove that crime goes DOWN whenever good citizens are allowed to have guns. Most police support this, & many cities have REQUIRED gun ownership in the past because it works. Which is why criminals like gun control and morons like Moore.

  • @romansten9 You are right, Off the top of my head, I can shake hands with at least 10 Texas State Troopers who will completely agree with you.

  • @year72011 You need to compare one nation to itself in order to reach logical conclusions. Nations that have implemented stricter gun control (and have disarmed the good citizens) have seen large increases in crime. Its common sense. The criminal is allowed to wreak havoc with the good people unopposed. Why would a criminal NOT break into a home when the people's guns have been taken away?? Criminals will always have guns. Gun laws ONLY punish the good people and are immoral.

  • @year72011 You have to compare one nation to itself. (apples and oranges) There are MANY MANY factors besides just what you mentioned. If Australia had less strict gun laws you would likely have LESS than 300 shooting deaths/year. More good citizens with guns equals less crime. (common sense) Criminals fear attacking armed citizens. I have seen the movie. Ridiculous. Just ONE example: He blames Kmart for Columbine because they sold the ammo. Wow. And all his movies are that bad.

  • oops, I just meant to type that....

  • fucking douchebag

  • A label does not make you safe from danger idiot? So what if you make movies, and more the reason to because they know you have money! What a nimrod.

  • by having enough security, he's referring to the thickness of his skull and his layers of gelatin. Nothing's getting in there. Except for public school propaganda and Obama's cock of course.

  • you fat pig face motherfucker ;what would you do if they banned cocksucking?

  • Suck it Moore.

  • LMFAO, Michael Moore is stammering and stuttering so much over this he sounds like a preacher man who just got busted watching internet porn...lol Anyway, I guess if guns kill people, then mi keybord juts mispeled thees worods. If guns kill people, then cars cause drunk driving. And, if guns kill people, then spoons and forks made Michael Moore and Rosie O'Donnell fat...

  • @texaswoodsmith moore is the typical liberal hypocrite.

  • @texaswoodsmith I support gun ownership, but they are designed to kill people don't pussyfoot around that.

  • @DoubleAssClown Its a matter of perspective like...fucking pussyfooting around shit... Yes, guns are designed to kill, but are unable to do so by "themselves". Electric Chairs are designed to kill people, as are gallows and guillotines. But, unless controlled they are little more than a slip, trip, and fall hazard. Hammers are designed to drive nails, but my fence still needs mending no matter how politely I ask my hammer to go handle it for me...lol

  • @texaswoodsmith What the fuck is you point?

  • @DoubleAssClown Dude are you high....?

  • @texaswoodsmith A little bit but that isn't point, the point is that you agree with me by what you said last.

  • @DoubleAssClown Cool...me too...lol. I agree that guns are designed to kill. However, they are little more than paper weights without you and me. They are merely tools. Men are killers, not guns. Likewise, there are many more protectors with guns than there are killers.

  • @texaswoodsmith Preach on!! btw don't forget Rosanne Bar, Joy Behar, and Whoopi Goldberg.. just to name a few more fat ass libs that hate guns, who walk around with their own security.

  • I'm a Paramedic and this is the plan I came up with for citizens PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY:

    While waiting for :

    FIRE DEPT:

Practice fire drills, use extinguishers for small fires, get out for large fires, etc.

    AMBULANCE:

Give CPR/first aid while waiting for the ambulance.

    POLICE:

Use self defense tools.(guns, knives, etc)as needed to protect yourself while waiting for the Police

Bad things happen while waiting.Guns are simply tools like fire extinguishers. They save lives

  • @romansten9 - Well said.

  • @romansten9 Good point, guns do save lives! They've saved millions!

  • yeah moore you slime bag my gun defends my family!

  • Michael Moore is a fucking joke.

  • 286 pounds of hypocrisy.

  • I think this clip is confused as to what it wants to be.

  • What Moore and his liberal friends always don't care about are the regular guys like us. We're not wealthy enough to have our own armed security. They live in their high-life gated communities wondering why anyone would ever want a gun. I live in a horrible area of town and not by choice. As Jefferson once said, the same is true for me; "a gun is the constant companion of my walks." You better believe I carry all day every day.

  • Michael Moore you fucking pig!

  • he's a pig

  • Anti-gun dogma shares it's flawed logic with drug prohibition, that illegalization will either eliminate the problem, or will "make it difficult" to get drugs and guns, and this will "reduce" the severity of the problem. The REALITY is that crooks don't care where the crack, guns,or hookers are, they will go the extra mile to get their hands on whatever they want, while lawful citizens are left unprotected while their tax dollars are wasted enforcing nonsense prohibtion laws.

  • It's amazing that Moore will defend gay rights tooth and nail and then fights to take other rights away. People feel like they can pick and choose what rights people should have that they agree with.

I'm an Atheist and I believe people should have the right to choose whatever religion they want. I'm straight but I defend gay rights. If I don't defend other people's freedom's who will be there to help defend mine?

  • I make Micheal moore action figures every morning after coffee

  • @pfcwar5150 how fat and hipacritical are they

  • this fuckin guy is such a liar and a hypocrit. he's selling revolution to the down trodden one movie at a time... repulsive. he's actually the sort of turd the revolutionaries should be fighting against... but they are too stupid to realize they have been tricked. pathetic.

  • liberals are funny, they don't seem to realize that gun owners will fight for their right to own guns. try to take our guns there will be bloodshed

  • Michael moore isn't a communist. he's just a shit head. marx would kill Moore himself.

  • @Ravengaurd6 Really, you've asked him?

  • @FlourescentPotato from an understanding of Marx's revolutionary standpoint on how statism always leads to the oppression of the people. The the intentions of Marxism are anarchistic. The hyper-statism Moore advocates ultimately leads to the perversion of Marxism seen in the USSR where the revolutionary state necassary to overthrow the former system refused to decentralize power and create anarchistic communism for the people. with the history of the USSR in mind one can see Marx dropping moore

  • @Ravengaurd6 I agree, I was mentioning that Marx is actually dead, unfortunately, and however much we hypothesise, we will never hear his final details on his thinking.

  • @Ravengaurd6 yes well it seems that human nature is incompatable with any form of self governance, even lack there of... which doesn't ever really exist. anarchy? like what you live over there and i live over here and we only talk when i need some cheese and you need your house painted? sure... in your dreams. anarchy would devolve into rule by force, fear and deception, just like all the rest of the 'systems' have.

  • @cwross1976 I never said I was an anarchist. I mean that Michael Moore's idea of a improved society is one that he'd achieve through force. basically, all marxism that is not anarchical (as marx ultimately intended for it to be) is totalitarian. your Hobbesian assumption about human relations within society is rather foolish and ultimately destructive. Government is good as long as it knows it's place but they are quick to forget. that's why decentralizing powers is necessary.

  • I bet his body guards are armed.

  • i hope that piece of shit chokes on his own fat

  • It's entertaining to see americans claim their rights to kill stuff.

  • @jonsitron11 true, it's amazing how many ignorant fucks post comments around here.

  • @XMata I see what you did tharr. And I agree, my comment wasn't really thought through. Oh well.

  • @jonsitron11 no no wait, I really was agreeing with your comment, not mocking it

  • @XMata Oh. Well then. Hah. x)

  • if you own a gun you need security lol

  • one fat ass motherfucker

  • michael moore you just make movies that are anti american, wonder how many people would like to see you dissapear?? probably 3/4 of the american public . if cuba is so awesome move there and be a communist like you really want to have the rest of us live like.

  • Guns won't stop diabetes

  • He is his own security, all the fat on the dumb-ass!

  • Fat ass pussy

  • if guns kill people then matches cause arson, pencils cause misspelled words and spoons make micheal moore fat

  • He doesn't need security to protect him from Conservatives, but from his fellow Leftist wackos who might disagree with him at some point. Or ones that would wack him to blame it on Conservatives.

  • your security.....what are they packing??? youre a male rosie o donnel...bash guns yet youre surrounded by gun carrying private security. FAT ASS HYPOCRITE. HURRY UP AND HAVE YOUR HEART ATTACK.

  • Michael Moore doesn't feel comfortable with a gun for fears he may try to eat it.

  • Leave it conservatives to write nothing but ad hominem comments coupled with their red herring argument.

People without guns are safer. its a fact. And i should know i live in what was the murder capital of the country.

I like how the gun people are always rooting for a revolution so they can finally kill a liberal.

  • @DennisfromDC Areas with guns and lighter gun laws are the safest areas of the country. A gun, much like a car, knife, baseball bat, etc. is only as dangerous as the person holding it. If someone wants to kill someone they will either do it without a gun or just use one anyway. People have the right to carry guns in area with gun restrictions, they are called criminals. Also, the second admendment is design to protect us from an overpowering government. The founding fathers even said that.

  • @DennisfromDC Dennis we had our revolution it happened over 200 years ago. It was against tyrants who wanted to deprive us of our right to represent ourselves. Now us crazy conservatives just want to keep the fruits of that revolution so that history doesn't repeat itself on the soil our forefathers bled on to defend those rights. What you don't realize is that if one of our rights that those great men died for is null then the rest are null as well. If one can be shut down the rest can as well.

  • This is the mind of a liberal, people.

    Fucked up, isn't it?

  • Cause your a dope ! RICH YUPPIE!

  • Hahaha raffle off your gun huh? This guy makes millions making a mockery of the nation.

  • This fat fuck is a hypocrite. You think these fat fucks in Hollywood, liberals with money (there really isn't any TRUE liberal without money or sheltered from harm) and rich government leaders don't have guns protecting them? We don't see the guns - they are 'security' or 'bodyguards'.

The people of the United States are sheep to be herded and slaughtered as these new royalty see fit apparently. Time for change.

  • @darthspeaks And the horrible thing is people don't want to hear it calling this talk 'negativity'. How negative will it be when the government will start telling you what to do, where to go and when and who to mate with? Huh? When your freedoms are stripped - what then?

  • Innocent movie maker ?? You can tell by the look on his face even HE doesn't believe it as the words are coming out of his mouth. Look at it this way all you anti firearm folks; If I can't own a firearm to protect myself, why would I pick one up to protect YOU ? Military and Police do what on a DAILY basis ? Good thing those people aren't as narrow minded as you milk toasts.

  • dipshit

  • What a Clown! so is he saying since we can not afford all the Security guards carrying guns for us then we should not be able to own one for foreign and DOMESTIC ENEMIES SUCH AS RAPIST AND MURDERER'S? Why didn't he just refuse the gun??? Hypocrite! You have no right to make stupid movies about gun control anymore because you own a gun and hire a small army with guns for self protection! You Stupid,Liberal,Hippie Moron!

  • Its true Americans shouldn't own gun, most them anyway.. Who needs a gun if you live in a city ohhh!! yes i'm sure they get loads of wild deer in Brooklyn..

Only people who should own guns are Police army and farmers .

second amendment was written to stop a British invasion the panics over i'm sure you're not going to get invaded by the British its been nearly 300 years .

  • @jellyboy123 what if North Korea invades?

  • @jellyboy123 Heres a more recent one then, back in the 40's the japs bombed Pearl Harbor,do you know why? They said it would be suicide to invade, there is a gun behind every blade of grass.

Taking guns from citizens is a horrible idea, they did it in Chicago and Dc,now look the crime has gone up,when you back into my house your going to meet a twelve gauge, when someone breaks into yours your going to meet the ground, because your ass is going to die.

  • @jellyboy123 It also gives us the right to protect ourselves against Domestic enemies, besides the Possibility of our Government going Tyrannical, there are plenty of Rapists, murderers and home invasion in this country by Criminals with guns they get illegally and always will, kinda like what you find in the big cities like Brooklyn instead of Deer! What a Stupid,Liberal,Hippie Moron! The Police get there after the fact..that means you get murdered before they get there unless you had a gun!

  • @jellyboy123 If that's true why isn't in the Constitution?

Police don't prevent crimes they only arrive at the scene after crimes are committed, so their gun will protect them form the criminals while you'll probably already be shot dead. If you have a gun you have a chance.

Reasons to have a gun in the city: How about preventing yourself form being robbed, raped, murdered, abducted, kidnapped etc. by someone with a gun, knife or just the will to do you harm.

  • @jellyboy123 Jelly Boy you are an idiot... No where in the second amendment does it state that my right to keep and bear arms is restricted to the purpose of hunting. When I was in the Navy I couldn't legally say anything against the Pres of the U.S. because he was my commander in chief. That said I think its reasonable for citizens to have the right to protect themselves from a future tyrant that has control over the military and the police don't you? Its a possibility. It could happen someday.

  • Sure, the gestapo will probably skip right over michael moores house, as they will only be rounding up Americans that lean right.

  • Oh please...what a hypocrite, his security has guns most likely. He's just hiding behind them.Same for Rosie O'donnel and her stance on guns...she has security as well!

  • Ask the people that want to put restrictive gun laws in place this: if you believe in the laws you are proposing; put your money where your mouth is.

    ------

If anyone is hurt because of the arms laws and were unable to defend themselves you will pay for the full medical bill and 100K. If the person is killed they get 200K to go to the survivors, paid by you; NOT the government.

  • At 0:42 Moore states "I have enough security around I don't feel the need to have a gun." How nice for you Mr.Moore. MOST people can't afford paid security to protect themselves from the bad guys. Yet this steaming fat pile of shit wants to take away the average citizens right to protect their gift of life. I have three little words for you Mr.Moore..... Bite my ass.

  • Michael Moore, by you bragging about how you can hire security- it speaks volumes of your disregard for human life. Don't those security guards have families too? Do you believe security equates to disposable lives or something? I'm just wondering...

  • But if you don't have a million bucks to by body guards your only alternative is by a gun for a few hundred.

  • @Siguror6 And, training and proper ammunition, and lots of practice. Responsibly owning a gun doesn't end at buying one. :D

  • and im sure his security has guns for his protection....because if i worked for him i would never take a bullet for him

  • @allhunting yup , just move out the way.

  • Comment removed

  • Don't argue with people who are for Gun Control...once shit hits the fan (SHTF/WROL) the gun wielding criminals will kill them near their phone when they're trying to dial 911.

  • Must be nice for Michael Moore to have enough money to confidently ensure his security, but I'm the security for my family and he wants to disarm me. Same with anti-gun lawmakers, backed by a horde of anti-gun advocates.

If successful, only criminals and those like Michael Moore (or his security) will have the guns, while lawmakers continue control of an army of police and military with firearms easily aimed at me. Why should I trust any of those with such unrestrained power?

  • @stewartx5 Gangs get guns illegally most of the time from other places, and they also get guns from the US govt (fast and furious). Wtf?

  • @stewartx5 how is you having a gun gonna 'protect' you or your family from getting shot at? it only ensures that you can take a shot at your attacker. today there are possibilities to disarm an attacker in non-lethal ways, hence less chances for 'accidental' killing or troubled teens to wipe out classmates they don't like... and if you need a firearm, why no mandatory qualification test (skill & character) to rule out nutjobs? who possesses 'unrestrained' power, don't know 1 person who has...

  • @baennie621

Must have missed those "non-lethal ways" of disarming an armed attacker. Absent a gun, exactly how do you stop an attacker at a business, approaching on the street, or kicking down the door at night? All, of course, before the armed attacker gains full control. As for skill tests or character evaluation, no other constitutionally-protected right is subject to either of those. Why single out the second of the ten amendments for unique requirements?

  • @stewartx5 by "non-lethal ways" i mean self-defense products that don't necessarily kill somebody, such as e.p. stun guns or just better security systems that prevent intruders from entering homes first place.as for the test, you need a driver's license to prove you can operate a vehicle safely, but a to handle a gun safely you just need to be able to pay for it? plus the wording of the bill says "well-regulated militia", meaning that training is necessary to exercise this right, doesn't it?

  • @baennie621

I have no desire to confront an armed attacker with nothing more than a stun gun. I'd likely never get close enough to use it before he shoots me full of holes. Anyway, the government dissolved the militia long ago, but that doesn't eliminate the second part of that amendment - the right to keep and bear arms. Supreme court agreed with that premise. Many feel mandated training is an infringement on that right, somewhat like training before freedom of speech, religion, or whatever.

  • @stewartx5 idk if the kind of weapon decides if your reactiing faster than an attacker. training wouldn't be an infringement at all, it would help exercise this right within the boundaries of the law, as for freedom of speech (religion,...) there is already mandatory training, education in school and at home shows you how to use language to exercise your rights (oral and in writing) without infringing sb. elses rights, so why not for guns which are way more dangerous to sb.s health than words

  • @baennie621

A bit disingenuous to switch from "qualification test (skill & character)" in your first message to "training" in later messages. Responded with the concept of the first, not the latter, in mind. And, of course, there's no "qualification test (skill & character)" prior to exercising free speech in this country. Also mentioned infringement within that context. Personally, I'd object to mandated government "training" prior to exercising a right on the same grounds (infringement).

  • @stewartx5 not disingenuous, just lazy and since you referred to training i jumped onto it + in order to take a test one has to train/study, i still meant the same. personally, i think to ensure that everybody who owns a gun can safely handle it and isn't a complete loon doesn't infringe their freedom as much as increase the personal safety of everbody else. am still thinking, that mandatory standartized school education counts as government "training" + tests prior to exercising const.-rights

  • @baennie621

Well, you'll probably soon get far more than you want. I truly expect firearms to be banned in America (as in Europe and elsewhere) within the next ten to fifteen years. A single seat change on the Supreme Court, now almost inevitable, will enable nationwide restrictions and bans. While you might celebrate that, it will be a sad time for personal freedoms. If so many can so easily accept threats to the 2nd, the entire Bill of Rights is vulnerable. Got to go. Take care, my friend.

  • @baennie621 The right to bear arms is because people were expected to provide their own guns for the militia. This was described in letters from the makers of the constitution. So the right to bear arms is to enable people to be immediately ready to defend themselves, their community, and their country if need be.

When someone enters the home with ill intent they put the owners at complete risk to all sorts of harm. It is valid for the owners to be able to defend against this harm with max force

  • @buckstarchaser The right to bear arms is because our founding fathers had just led "We the people" through a war against a tyrannical government. They knew that we could only maintain our freedom if the government had something to fear - We the people.

So self defense and homeland security aren't the only reasons for our right to bear arms. And, I completely agree with your last statement, our God given right to self defense is CRUCIAL.

  • @TheBizzyWig Yes, I implied this. We are agreeing but with different wording. It was written that not only is it a right to keep and bear arms, it is the responsibility of everyone to do so.

  • @buckstarchaser Gotcha, I didn't immediately see that. I like to make that point because a lot of pro-2nd folks don't look that far into it. Many people only see how it affects their lives at the present. For instance, a hunter might be pro-2nd because banning guns will immediately affect his ability to hunt. He may not see that the right to gun ownership is essential to freedom.

Keep up your support buck! :D

  • @buckstarchaser Gotcha. Sorry for missing that. I'm just passionate about our rights and I had my blinders on. :D

  • @baennie621 Baennie, Driving is a privilege and gun ownership is a right. Do you understand the difference? If not please don't exercise your 2nd amendment and please don't drive a vehicle=) Thankyou (=
