  • Peter explained it perfectly, as usual. Looking forward to his "Oaked" version review.

  • @skydogz1 Thanks! It will be up soon. Cheers!

  • wow look at the colour of that beer, looks fantastic, sounds fantastic, cheers Peter

  • @realaleguide Yeah Arrogant Bastard is a great beer! Cheers Simon!

  • An American classic for sure

  • @Tantrum777 Totally!

  • Stone never fails.

  • @TekaDon Nope.

  • this was my first taste of a true craft beer. still one of my absolute favorites! Cheers!

  • @EJE22822 It is a good brew for sure! Cheers!

  • This is great beer, I'm a big fan of the bastard series ales. Definitely try the double its so good. Cheers Peter!

  • @NYRfan4ever Yeah its really nice. I can't wait to try the Oaked and Double! Cheers!

  • @TheMasterOfHoppets Oaked is fantastic. It's expensive, but well worth it.

  • I liked it when I tried it. Like you say Stone does a very good job on all their beers

  • @AmzingBeerDrinkngMan Yeah I agree. cheers!

  • the date on the bottle is the expiration date so that was a rather old bottle. Which is weird.

The oaked is the best version - very smooth and less dry than the regular.

The double is just nuts. I've got a 2010 bottle in the basement I'll break out later this year.

  • @ChadzBeerReviews It didn't say January, it said April, I just removed three months from the best before date, thats why I said bottled in January. Cool, I will look forward to be trying both. Cheers Chad!

  • If you are going by the date on the bottle, that is actually a BEST BY date, not a bottled on date. So, you probably had a bottle that is a few days pasted it's prime...not that it's bad or anything. Stone dates their hoppy ales 3 months out from the bottling date. Next time your at the store, I'd be on the look out for a bottle dated March/April to taste it at it's full potential! :) Cheers!

  • @silentbooger I know they do that, it stated it was best by April I just removed 3 months, thats why I said bottled in January :-) Cheers!

  • Arrogant Bastard was the first Stone beer I tried. Been hooked ever since. If you are ever in the Escondido area you need to check it out. I almost feel spoiled knowing I live but fifteen minutes from the brewery.

  • @LeperMessiah760 Yeah its great. Haha I was already planning on visiting Stone if I came to San Diego for sure. Cheers!

  • I love this stuff, drink it pretty regularly. If you get a chance, try the double bastard. It is delicious

  • @jcwoodstl I will review both the Double and Oaked in the future. Cheers!

  • time for a double bastard review!

  • @epicbeerdude Yup and oaked! Cheers!

  • One of my favorites for sure! I love hops and brutal death metal!

  • @GianniStunato Haha me too! Cheers!

  • @paternzen I really liked this though. I will review both the Double and Oaked soon. Cheers!

  • Stone is always good. I just wish they had more stuff in 6 packs that didn't cost $14 or more.

  • @Imasofat Yeah I agree. I haven't payed more than 10$ for a sixer of their IPA so far, and in Danish standards that is really cheap xP Cheers Gary!

  • Good ole Arrogant Bastard. Love it. I agree with everyone saying the oaked Bastard is even better.

  • @FrogJon Yup it is great. Haha yeah I can't wait to try it. Cheers!

  • "I'm going to review most of their beers". Haha, liar! You're going to review them all and you know it. ;)

This is a classic. It was the first "extreme" beer I ever had and I'll never forget it.

  • @StumpyJoeJr Yeah I probably will xD One store still has their 14th anniversary ale. Yeah for sure, I can't wait to try the Double and Oaked! Cheers Ryan!

  • love this beer, but the oaked version is definitely better IMO

  • @bedford1011 Agreed, the oaken version is better for sure!

  • @bedford1011 Nice, I can't wait to try it and the Double. Cheers!

  • did u heard a band call Fleet Foxes? you look like them lol

  • @chhau123 Nope, I will check them out. Cheers!

  • What do your roommates think of the good beers that are coming into your apartment.

  • @thesaint6169 One of them really liked this one. Cheers!

  • @TheMasterOfHoppets Its always nice to have someone try a craft beer and they actually like it

  • OMG.

    Your accent!

  • @Schytz88 lol

  • Nice beer. Haven't tried the Oaked, but the Double Bastard is super tasty! Glad to see you doing reviews here in the states man. Seems kinda lonely without Jakob though :(

  • @mrmuyrapido Yeah it is. Nice I will review that and the oaked too for sure! Yeah I guess xP He will start reviewing by himself in DK soon. We also want to do a skype collab, but we can't really find a beer that we both get. Cheers!

  • I loved this and the Oaked when I had them. Would love to try this one fresh though. I was fortunate to get the oaked sent direct to me from the States. Hope you're enjoying the States mate! EPIC BEARD! Skål!

  • @mrgrimviking Yeah it was great, I can't wait to try the Double and Oaked versions. I am! Thanks and skål!

  • @CHIMAYBLUE1 I will. Cheers Tim!

  • This is one i am going to mail order in the future..Good Review

Your American accent is coming on nicely LOL

  • @sofakingdrunk66 Thanks! Yeah you should it is great! Haha thanks I guess xP

  • Ah yes, Arrogant Bastard... a beer that packs quite a punch while having a fairly unique flavor profile and to top it off it can be found in most grocery stores. Definitely worthy of being Stone's flagship ale, as it definitely summarizes Stone Brewery.... They tend to make fairly strong aggressive beers that don't hold back on flavor either.

  • @EpicFknBrutality Cheap too....

  • @EpicFknBrutality Yeah this is a really nice beer, I can't wait to pick up the Oaked and Double version. Cheers!

  • This was the first craft beer that I ever had (I jumped right into the deep end!), and I was not worthy. I'll have to revisit this one!

  • @mechtech256 Me too, this is the beer that got me into craft beer. Still one of my all time favorites.

  • @mechtech256 Cool. This was really nice. Cheers!
