And both are no real Sonic games. Sonic R is a shitty running (racing) game and Sonic World is a part of the Sonic Jame Collection, not more than an interactive menu. In terms of Sonic the Sega Saturn was a poor machine.

@hanEatsPussy Well aside from not being very good, Sonic R was probably the only game that could be close to being a new Sonic game on a new system. 3D Blast was just a port of the Genesis version with better music and a much more awesome special stage. Sonic World (like you said) is just an interactive menu, but helped give a taste of Sonic in a 3D environment before Sonic Adventure. And this is basically just Sonic in Nights' gameplay. Xtreme would have been the true Sonic game though.
