From what I saw in the video, I would have arrested all of the persons postering and the person with the free hand. You do not put your hands or body in the way of an officer trying to make an arrest. Illegal period. End of story. Postering against an officer as if you will resist or fight him is also illegal and an will get you arrested just about every time depending on the perceived threat level.

I put on shows in an illegal venue, gotten many noise complaints and police visits and the officers have never came into my basement, just asked to see me and talked me over and gave me warnings for a fine. And that was with drunken street punks everywhere so this officer inititally stirred everyone up by taking the stage.

From what I saw in the video, I would have arrested all of the persons postering and the person with the free hand. You do not put your hands or body in the way of an officer trying to make an arrest. Illegal period. End of story. Postering against an officer as if you will resist or fight him is also illegal and an will get you arrested just about every time depending on the perceived threat level.

This video excluded the premises of this incident. Assuming that the original instigator had failed to decrease the music volume, the officer had Just Cause to utilize necessary force to arrest the man. Additionally, it is apparent the cameraman of this video had the intention to provoke the officer into utilizing physical force by failing to comply with his investigation. A Taser, although temporarily paralyzing, is a safer alternative into subduing a culprit when compared to wrestling.

If he would have sat down like he was told, instead of keeping the camera raised (hoping to catch the officer attempting to punch in the face I guess) and not looking where he was walking, the he (camera guy) would not have broken the bass.
