"Terror" is a feeling, and calling someone a "terrorist" is an expression of a feeling that they promote. So, you can call any criminal a terrorist and it will, in some way, be true. That's the REASON that the same laws need to apply. If they don't, and officials want an excuse not to follow the law in prosecuting someone, that person simply needs to be called a terrorist.

An example is that previously they could not enter into the insurance or brokerage business. Well, I'll admit that sometimes it really seems like the government is playing good cop/bad cop on us, and to some extent they are.
