@runebladez999 use CoD (curse of doom) and get killing blow with it, or use ritual of doom (aquired through a quest chain in outland) have 4 other people join in, and when the ritual is complete it spawns a hostile doomguard that a high level warlock has to use enslave demon on to become friendly.

@QCBEC actually the quest is still in the game, I did it and I started playing long after WotLK was released.

@chaselipp the quest chain starts at a guy standing in the demon corner in the Blasted Lands. You need to be a warlock and level 60 I think. Though at 60 you will need help. If you do it at 70 or 80 you can solo everything within 2 hours, gonna be a piece of cake. Better do it soon because the quest will probably be gone (and obsolete) with the spell re-design they do in Cata.

Sadly, the doomguard no longer kills one of the summoners and appears tame, and just despawns at the end of its duration. This killed the 'lets make a DG in lolshire' fun.

on the plus side, its now bloody usefull, I generally summon my DG for the final run in HoR

I've done worse. I cast the spell in Alterac Valley, right about a few seconds before the game starts, the doomguard is summoned and starts attacking ppl while everyone was casting to get on their mounts at the same time. Since entering battle interrupts ppl from getting on their mount, we wasted about 30 secs trying to kill the doomguard. The group hated me... lol

To summon a doomguard: get a Demonic Figurine, a warlock with Ritual of Doom and four friends. The warlock casts the spell and opens a portal which four others have to focus on. After the ritual is done, one of the focusers will randomly die. The doomguard is a hostile mob until a warlock uses enslave on it. If the warlock dies, too bad. If you don't have a backup warlock, lulz ensue.

Doomguards have wonderful area attacks.
