In Singapore and Malaysia, from the time I was born, there were always tables and chairs in the Gurudwaras, its normal, don't make an issue out of it.

Jasveerb, With respect i must point out that just because many temples in malaysia & singapore may be equipped with tables & chairs, it does not become normal. What we practice is Sikhism (includes seva & humbleness). We are to sit on the floor with utmost respect to our Gurus.

Beautiful. When I left home as a boy and went homeless and wandering the Sikhs took me in and housed me and fed me and taught me music. They are the most amazing, beautiful, honest, respectful, caring and humble of all the religions hands down. They fed me amazing vegetarian food for many years and never asked for a single dime and when I didn't take thirds and forths in one sitting they would get offended and say "You must eat!"
