@mattakudesu seriously ive heard of wet paint and dangers no stranger but not this LOL its not bad sounds like leader of the pack almost what scared me was the monsterpiece theater opening with the flag
Ahh - this is absoutely great.... until now, I haven't seen the actual video since since my childhood in the 80's, but I've definitely sang the chorus since then!!
I so used to dance to this song in the 80's. Is this song a parody of an old song? it sounds like one, I love the female sheep wah wah wah wah! love this clip tks for posting it.

Was it really necessary for this to be a song? of all the songs from the good old days of jim/frank this 1 i think they really could have done without.
Aww I remember this this is so cute. The sheep are so cute and very sweet. I like the girl sheep with the pink bow on her coat. Everytime I climb in bed and sunngle under my covers I think of these sheep and every other sheep wherever they are. I've got a nice white and pink blanket, , cushion and duvet set and it's called Lulu for some strange reason. I wonder if one of the sheep was called Lulu and they named the dvet set after the sheep Lulu. I wish I had these sheep to keep me company. xxxxx
I've rembember seing this, and I still injoy it, I could stay up allnight long and party with these sheeps all night long, THATS A STORY OF MY BLANKET, come on sing and dance every one
I have not seen this skit in about 20 years it still makes me smile however, nowadays Sesame Street has to reley on old skits from long ago because otherwize it can not do anything really amazing.
The parts that the she-sheep sings, to me, sounds like the part from the Eddie Money song "Take Me Home Tonight" where the female back-up singer sings. Anyone know what I'm talking about?
This might be Jim Henson's last appearance with Ernie but, I'm not sure because I know I saw this skit in the mid 80s and Jim Henson passed away in the year 1990. I wonder why Ernie was in this skit (as a farmer) because in the beginning of the skit Bert said that he's sleeping at "The Count's." Probably they should've used a different muppet as the farmer. I know the next performer after Jim Henson whose performing Ernie is now Steve Whitmire, and Steve Whitmire does a good job too.
I love this! That girl sheep was my favorite; I wish I could sing like her. BTW, did you guys notice that Ernie is the farmer? Do you get the feeling he sent them to Bert to keep him from having a good night's sleep? LOL!
I remember this I love it Bert's blanket is so ace. When I was a kid and this clip come on I got lots of pillows on the carpet in front of the TV and got a nice fluffy blanket to keep me warm. Then I sat on the pillows and watched Seseme Street from Bert's Blanket to the end of the episode. I love the muppet sheep they are so cute. I like the female sheep to she has a good voice. Does anyone know who plays the muppet female sheep.
It's probably a mixture of a couple songs with that sound. But there's at least a little of "Leader of the Pack" in there. The drum beat plus Bert and the sheeps' dialogue.
Hey sheep aren't you going to tell the rest of the story.
You end up in some HORRIBLE British or Irish meal.
