Hey does anyone know the indian movie about a school teacher who gets raped by this guy adn then her father forces him to marry her and later on they fall in love. I seen it once when I was small and as I remember it might be Rani Mukherjee as the main actress but i can't seem to find it anywhere. Does anyone know the title?

Not stupid, but badly made. The idea was interesting and the cast was exceptional. But the end is to sweet for this subject and not realistic at all.

@Rayahna no, the end is not what happens, but what should happen, it is idealistic, or if the AB character had been a christian or a "secular" he would have been called progressive & reformist, trying to save the eternally doomed India & Hindus....never mind the sexcapades of the clergy with the nuns & the altar boys.

What I didn't like about the movie is: She became a prostitute but she didn't revenge! from the guy who led her to this path! Abhishek admired her, and no man in fact would take a prostitute as a wife only if he was deeply in love and in a long relationship. Watch (Bahavna)for Shabana Azmi (one of her best) and see the difference between the 2. How hard was her life and the society's reaction.

The last scene of this movie ruined the whole! Just as the director want to convey his message to all the audiences by saying the following: Men, accept a prostitute to be your wife: Parents: Accept a member in your family to work in prostitution!! Thats it!
