I also have this moniter and am trying to use my ps3 with it. I am using an hdmi to dvi converter to plug it into the moniter, and i can see the ps3 menue but its really staticy and the screen flashes a lot. If you know what the problem is please let me know.

if i was playing codmw2 and i used 720p would there be that big of a difference between 720p and 1080p? people say 1080p is for movies

@goloet I had a 19Inch 720p lcd tv then i bought a LG 27Inch 1080 there's alot of difference with movies but in game theres only little (Barely Noticeable TBH) If its like a 40-50 quid range go for 1080 if not then dont.

@jonnyc93 Menu>Input SOurce> Click Menu> Right Arrow then click of DVI-d and click menu for ok. Make sure ur adapter is hdcp compatible

Because you monitor is not HDCP compatible. You have to buy a HDFury Blue or just get a new tv

sbb monitor acer yg mcm kita ni x leh 1080p support. Acer tu hanya capable smpi 720p je. so utk ini kes ko perlu usaha gandakan dgn "meminjam" mana2 monitor yg leh support 1080p, then dari situ ko setkan ke 720p, lps tu cuba ko pasang blk kat monitor ko acer tu gerenti boleh punye.

Maut jugak soalan tu, untuk pengetahan am, av cable (kira bukan TV hd la) hanya mampu capai takat 540p je. Jadi sequance no.1 ko kena ubah hanya boleh pakai atau setting tu guna monitor/tv hd shj. Sadly to say it but it's true pasal aku PERNAH CUBA.

First of all, our monitor did not work unless you have to setting first your console to 720p to other monitor which can accept in between 720p to 1080p/i. Then I promise you it can works on your Acer monitor.

Maybe it doesn't work because this monitor only supports 720p but the console itself already default setting at 1080p. To make it up you have to "borrow" another monitor or HDTV temporarily which it supports 1080p first then set to 720p at the display settings.

for sound, still using a RCA audio as usual which have white & red (sound) & yellow (visual) from ps3 cable provided. But for these case, just using red & white cable to remain only for sound. The visuals for only HDMI.
