You're obviously forgetting Chameleon.Deris isn't the one who is responsible for them becoming poppy,Weikath does most songwriting.And Kiske wasn't the one responsible for the heaviness of 80s Helloween,Hansen was,and the late Ingo was a great drummer.

Actually I think it's fine that Kai left, because Gamma Ray is awesome, one of my favorite bands along with Helloween. And Helloween have been great, I like everything they have done, even Chameleon and Pink Bubbles were pretty good, although a few tracks sucked.

Pink Bubbles Go Ape isn't pop (maybe with the exception of Weikath's Number One) The Chance, Someone's Crying. Kids Of The Century and Mankind are at least melodic metal and Kiske didn't compose this album by himself...you are entitled to your opinion but for me his new music needs to be listened with an open mind (it is definitely not metal)

Well, he don't like how the metal scen has evolved. Yeah he has been on it himself and he says he don't regret what he has done and what he has accomplished with Helloween, Solo and with Place Vendome. He wants metal to be about more good stuff, not allways about War, death and such things. And he wasn't alone on Pink Bubbles Go Ape as said before. Roland Grapow and Weiki wrote just as many songs. Gogo Kiske, can't wait til Place Vendome 2: Streets of Fire comes out.

We only hear him on Avantaia albums...NOOO...he has an active solo career with the name of "Kiske". His last album was released in 2006. He left Helloween to dedicate his life to pop music, and so his solo is pop stuff as well. (He said in an interview that everything which is stronger than Queen is "dangerous").

If you still consider him a "metal god", I understand, cos his albums with Helloween were great (except Pink Bubbles Go Ape), but it's just not reasonable to idolise a pop musician.

Kai is a wonderful singer, but Kiske just owns anybody with his voice, Kiske nails any song of Kai, but Kai could never fit in Kiske shoes, just compare their parts in Avantasia, or on Time to break free, Kiske goes higher and stronger. The new stuff of Kiske is not heavy metal, but just listen to the EPK of the Scarecrow by Avantasia, you'll see he lost nothing, I even think he's better than ever!
