he was on wifi, the newer iphones will support edge, but the wifi is great on the iphone, vids and pages load quickly, and like 10 times faster with the edge network

This was interesting. I live in Europe and have been hearing all kinds of stuff about the iPhone. Your demo videos have been pretty helpful.

I think, once they become available here, especially if they fix some of the stupid stuff they've left out of the phone (like 3G, MMS and a few other things) I'll be sure to pick one up.

it last 300 to 400 charges so that is about 1 year

I have found the iPhone's battery charge lasts for an average day's use. And no, you cannot assign your music as ringtons (yet). As for specific ringtones for different contacts, yes it can be done.
