  • but I wanted to dislike D:

  • @drgoldteef Really so calling people names and making references to his weight has merit ?? and what example I havent seen u give any useful information all you have done is is call him a crackpot and your 90 population growth comment wow much info

  • This is laughable. Truly. Or very very sad.. I can't really make up my mind.

  • Why in the world would assume a constant population growth? All throughout history we see rapid buildups and sudden collapse, from easter island to the American southwest.

  • You are so, so wrong... You talk about wishful thinking... Why can't you see the truth mate... there is no GOD... Please, please WAKE UP...

  • Maybe you could open the borders of Canada to anyone who wants to move there, like people from Bangladesh, Haiti, Indonesia, Philippines, Jamaica, Madagascar.... Or give food away to them for free; I'm sure multinational corporations like Cargill wouldn't mind cutting into their profits to make sure their products gets to people who have no money to pay for it. Same thing for water. Problem solved! Just make the world one big socialist state now, before it's forced on us in 100-200 years.

  • This guy can't be serious....because crap like this makes me lose faith in humanity. Everytime I think I have heard the stupidest thing ever...some creatard tops it.

  • I think his fat ass can feed a town of african kids for at least a month.

  • Go to ANY 3rd world country and tell them we've barely scratched the surface of global food sources, and maybe after they are done shoving your biblical toilet paper back up your ass you'll know a fraction of the pain that they have gone through for years. Schmuck.

  • I knew this guy was a doof, and then he cited old biblical scriptures as a source....damn....and he wants to be taken seriously? really?

  • Funny his calculations don't take into account the differences of things like, War, Disease, Murder, Famine, Differences in technology... As for the 'flat-line' it's a positive number, not flat, just very very small by comparison to now.

You'd have to zoom in on that 'flat' line to see it's slope.

  • Is this man seriously giving credit to the mythical story of Noah and the flood? There are so many holes in the logistics of that story that a child could prove it false.

  • 5:30 "Even with a population of 7 billion people, we still haven't even scratched the surface of the limitations of food and space on planet Earth."

That's because the earth no longer supports humans. Humans support themselves today, thanks to institutions such as property rights. Since property rights didn't exist more than 10,000 years ago, humans were limited then by the natural resources of the natural environment.

  • Uggggh what a lying MTF.

  • lol fat and stupid

  • wow this was awesome, makes so much sense where are all the 26 billion graves? where are all the billions of fossils? where are the transitional fossils? where is it?

  • I am on an honest journey to find answers, I am an atheist but I have recently been shocked by the discovery of the 2000 yr old references in the bible to Atomic Fission, oceanic currents, hydraulic cycle, jet streams, dinosaurs and innumerable stars...as I'm sure you are a aware some of these discoveries have only been made by man in the last century! Does any fellow atheist have any answers to how the bible can have recorded these facts so long ago?

  • Hey, flock-o-seaglls: 90% of population growth is in undeveloped nations. It's not about "land", genius. You really should investigate something called a "textbook". I know it sounds so foreign, but try anyway.

The Living Dinosaur ate you for breakfast. All 300kg of you.

  • @drgoldteef actually if u havent seen it already wazooloo made a response to the living dinosaur and ate him for breakfest and to everyone who sees this comment and it debunks everyone saying that there isnt enought food in the world cause there is plenty to go around..........watch watchv=7qqEWBaeWY&feature=plcp&context=C393ceadUDOEgsToPDskLwgnQyIRWiBCosyhROl6dG

  • @CDUTT360 "wazooloo made a response to the living dinosaur and ate him for breakfest"

I wouldn't be surprised to find that Juby ate anything, anytime, and lots of it. However, in the department of debunking, Juby couldn't debunk The Complete Guide to Underwater Fire-Prevention.

  • @drgoldteef actually why dont you watch the video response if u havent already instead of wasting yours and my time judging his weight like it has anything to do with anything cause it doesnt so go watch the video and stop being ignorant

  • @CDUTT360 "why dont you watch the video response"

Who says I haven't? Listen, pal: I've already forgotten more about Ian Juby's videos than you'll ever know. He's a crackpot, anti-science, blatantly dishonest, conspiracy-theorist, and it should be obvious to anyone who cares. For those who don't care, he is your man.

  • @drgoldteef well his response video to thelivingdinosaur was the first video i have seen from him and this video my second but ya i probly will watch more when i feel like it and it looks like you have a stronger love for criticizing and calling him names like your an immature highschooler then your interest for science and truth just because you have different views on things doesnt give you the right to criticize him like you do grow up

  • @CDUTT360 "just because you have different views on things doesnt give you the right to criticize him"

NEWSFLASH: This is a public forum on the internet. I can criticize whatever and whoever I want. Whats more, I can and will provide examples of why my criticism has merit. The examples I provide can be investigated and recorded so that people like you can form a more educated opinion. If you take the time to learn, you'll eventually agree.

  • The BIG problem the evos don't want to address is why there were just 100 million ppl 2k years ago and only 500 mil in1500 AD. If the human race was around only 1 million years, even at an astronomically small growth rate of a thousandth of a percent per year, we wouldn't be able to fit shoulder 2shoulder on this earth. And WHERE are all the remains??

Seems the extent of the evo mind to ask questions&reason goes as far as dreaming up variations on the worn theme of "you're stoopid, I'm smart."

  • @WilliamTyndale1

Because "god did it!" is just fucking genius right? The whole "there would be so many people we wouldn't be able to fit" argument is BS. Populations don't grow at a constant rate. You have to factor in disease, war, famine, etc. and no one who makes that argument ever does. And where are the remains? Do you know what decomposition is? Apparently not.

  • @Mattm1986 pt1

Sounds like, "Yoor stoopid, I'm smaart."

Throughout the 20th cent. there was no decline in worldwide pop. growth from 1 decade to the next despite more ppl dying from wars, disease&famine than the entirety of man's recorded history COMBINED. When was the last ELE (according to evo theorists?) According to ur "bible," Wiki it was the"Cretaceous–Tertiary extinction event, which occurred approximately 65.5 million years ago"

65.5 mil years of "the human animal" breeding like animals

  • @Mattm1986 pt2

...we r2 believe that a mere 100 million folks were around "just" 2k yrs ago??

U&ur ilk sound like a bunch of old, desperate Jesuits at the Inquisition clinging to ur man-made doctrines in the face of all reason.

Btw,can't help pointing out:were there a "Complete Guide to Underwater Fire-Prevention,"there would b little sense in debunking it...unless u DID believe in fire underwater(a notion only topped by"There(probably) is no God."

    Fallacious contradictory analogy is fallacious:)

  • This video should make like a tree and go fuck itself.

Ian Juby you are one fat lying sack of shit Sir.

You make imaginary Jesus cry for your tedious and obvious Creationist fucking lies.

  • "Even with a population of 7 BILLION people, we haven't even scratched the surface on the limitation of food and space on earth." WHAT?! Sorry, but that is bat-nutty crazy. You gotta be kidding me. So the WHO's estimate of 6 MILLION people CHILDREN dying every year is...what?...a conspiracy to make evolution possible? You disgust me. Tell the 925 MILLION people (14% of the world's population) who are undernourished we haven't reached the limit of food on earth. I dare you! Shame on you!

  • @5:57 Oh I can see the fudge factoring going on..you did not need any data at all to come up with the growth rate. Exp growth N =N0*e^rt where: N0 is the starting population N? is the population after a certain time t has elapsed, r is the growth rate expressed as (birth rate - death rate)

e is the constant 2.71828. and t=4500 years r = (ln 7e09/8)/4500 = 20.589/4500 = 0.00467 or 0.46% which is complete bullshit to fit the math to the story, as well growth rates are not constant.

  • Great video idiot

  • @wazooloo ..you should ask yourself why you need such rubbish to pimp out Jesus. Shame on you sir.

  • Really, humans aren't short on food? ...30,000 kids die everyday of starvation. What a sack of shit this guy is.

  • You are a total DUMBFUCK, lard-ass!

  • Wow... I'm impressed by the sheer magnitude of lies, unsupported assumptions, and total denial of reality displayed in this video.

Get you fat face out of burgers and fries and take some actual science classes, bozo!!

How do you think we're able to observe galaxies billions of light-years away? It's because the universe is billions of years old, moron! You sound intelligent, but your stupidity is displayed by your reliance on primitive fables rather than actual facts discerned by science.

  • It's nice that he forgets things like the black death, that killed 60% of European population in medieval times. At that time life expectancy was 25yr, not 30, and im sure it was even shorter in earlier times...especially since there wasnt much healthcare to talk about. so many women/babies died at childbirth, and many men died in hunting/wars. and many children died from diseases that could have been easily cured today, but not then.

this man is so ignorant it's embarrassing.

  • "Ratings have been disabled for this video." Well, that tells me all I need to know about its content, then.

  • I think we need to start labeling any video with ratings disabled as the "Youtube Constant" where the person disabling ratings knows it is going to be rated down a lot because the content is made of mostly manure.

So the "Youtube Constant" strikes again

  • It's a good thing you made this rant in the woods, because the same number of people would have taken you seriously there as they would have in a professional forum.

  • The stupid. Oh the humanity.

  • Absolutely unreal stupidity it is people like you who disgrace the Human race.

  • Stating that there is no food shortage problem makes you one of the most disgusting human beings on this earth. Go to Africa and lose some weight if you think everyone has food to spare.

  • Most of these creationists wouldn't feel the need to post vids had they paid attention in 4th grade social studies class. AAAALLL of their findings and questions would have been answered, a lot of bandwith saved, and much facepalming avoided.

  • Comment removed

  • Are you trying to troll people? I think you must if you're allowing commenting without moderation. You're doing better at it than some of the other creationist (hem hems)...

  • Disable your ratings to make yourself look good.

    Wow, what a shit.

  • America, your education system must have some serious flaws if this idiot is anything to go by.

  • What worries me is this video was made just last year. I heard the same argument made 20+ years ago and it was a laughable argument then, it is still one now.

  • Oh, and another thing. Ever heard of oil? Do you realize that the population of the earth remained relatively consistent prior to the discovery of oil? Without oil, our population would decline rapidly. Right now, agribusiness fertilizers, farm equipment, transportation, plastics, computer parts, resource depletion etc. etc. are all made possible because of oil.

Oil is your God, but Oil is indifferent to you and your silly ideas about things you know very little about.

  • Yeah, I live in Montana and have visited most of the places you mention....let me clue you in on something....you can't grow food PERIOD on most of the land in those places, and the tiny amount of land that is viable for agricultural purposes can only be utilized agriculturally for a small fraction of time in one given year.

You are the poster child for "Holding Strong Opinions About Things You Don't Understand" club.

  • Another reason why YouTube should not allow users to disable their ratings. No doubt there are many out there that will believe the shit being shoveled by this dickhead.

  • Another reason why YouTube should not allow hajji kjjhbbn

  • How can people who purport to be intelligent say such mind numbingly stupid things.

  • I wonder why he disabled the Ratings

  • @fablesergio He's clearly not a fan of star wars, he didn't want the red lightsaber that comes with such an outstandingly stupid video.

  • @fablesergio

Don't worry. This comment is the rating system.

Thumbs up if you think this video is laughable and embarrassing.

  • z0mg, humans aren't EVERYWHERE, so we're totally not overpopulated!

You are a pompous, uneducated, possibly inbred, stupid worthless fat fuck. Go die of a heart attack so you can help the population problem you're too stupid to even acknowledge exists.

  • You really don't believe this - do you?

  • population growth isnt static. Stuff like disease, infant mortality and such created an equilibrium until recently.

Also, your bacteria analogy is rather scary. Or would be if you understood the implications. What happens to the bacteria when they run out of space and food? Spoiler alert: they do not stay at an equilibrium, they all die.

  • Now that would be nice, to live you need only space to stand in.

  • fucktard

  • You are a very scary man! I can hardly believe that you made such a badly researched and ignorant film. Please stop and get an education!

  • you stupid fuckbag! there is no sience in creationism..........

  • disabled rating system? shocking. did you forget what carrying capacity is all about? stop pretending to know what your talking about you dumb ass.

  • Smug ignorant bastard.

  • People he can't be all that bad. He seems to not be censoring comments. lol

  • Praise be to the internet! Without it, I'd never have so many opportunities for side splitting laughter sessions like the one I just had whilst watching this gormless buffoon's effort at explaining world population. No point getting mad with clowns like this, folks. Just sit back and enjoy the fucktardery.

  • you are a stupid, mother-fucking idiot. You are a POX on humanity, you slimy, fat, arrogant piece of SHIT!!!!!!!

Your "empty tomb" is a fucking joke - I was in Israel, and the guides there showed me your fuckig fairy-tales were just that --fairy-tales only believe d by simpletons!

grow up , you fat-assed bastard!!!!!!!

  • The empty tomb of Jesus...WTF!!!! Have YOU personally EVER been to Israel??? Well, I have, you deluded M**F*^r . I was shown several tombs of Jesus. Guess What? I lost my faith in your Jesus, right there ,in ISRAEL!! You don't don't have a clue what you're talking about, you f**king fat stupid buggerer.

You have no knowledge of anything you talk about, you ignoramus.

  • I hate this argument from creationist in particular, others I can stand for, but this one grinds my gears

  • Fucking Booby.

  • You've been exposed by The Living Dinosaur, how's it feel mate?

  • I hope no one is dumb enough to take you seriously. This is so fucking sad. Are you lying from ignorance or to deceive?

  • As I remember Moses had about 3000 people killed. In according to your supposed steady population growth this would severely decimate the world’s population.

And how many were there to build the tower of babel really? About 20?

There is no point in doing any research on this because your rubbish theory is too embarrassingly stupid.

  • You know I try to avoid resorting to insults but you are a fucktarded pig headed piece of garbage worthy of being pissed on.

We humans are currently running out of food and water, there's not enough at only 7 billion people. Maybe if you were such a privilege piece of shit you'd realize a good portion of Americans LET ALONE actually poor countries are STARVING.

On a world population size you're lucky you don't have to go to bed hungry because that's reality for a very good portion of humanity.

  • Man-o-man, what an incredibly stupid video. And to top it off you don't have the integrity to let people rate your video. Idiot.

  • You know what's really, really ironic. In your defense of the global flood you implicitly rely on super rapid human evolution. The kind of evolution which actually cannot occur!!!

  • It looks like fatty needs a nap.

  • Gee, you don't look like the fat, wealthy, ownership driven, cigar chomping, Bible thumping, white, racist piece of shit that plagues North America these days. Shave that stupid looking mustache and grow a clue instead, you inbred, braindead, lemming, slave, mouthpiece for your stupid fucking religion.

  • Truly you are a sad and ill-informed uneducated man....

  • Whew, I'm so glad that your math proved there's no overpopulation in the world, and there's enough resources to feed everyone.

  • Man, your logic is so craptastic. So overpopulation is not a problem, because Canada is deserted, huh? Well, YOU've obviously never been to India, China, Pakistan, Korea, Indonesia, and certain areas in Africa, have you? Even if we move all those people to the places you mentioned, we'd still be fucked, if earth's population continues to grow because we'd have to clear every fucking forest in the world to make room for farm land. Cheeseburgers don't grow on trees, you know ...

  • You know. I'm willing to go on record as saying I think Pascal's wager is the worst coherent arguement from apologists. I'm really really tempted to say that this is the second worst arguement. Except if I do I know that a dozen folks are gonna pop out saying "surely this is even stupider" So I'll refrain. This arguement is still monumentally stupid though.

So tell me, did you find that mensa card in a buffet or did you eat a smart person and steal theirs?

  • There is no way to tell if someone is a parody of religion or just a stupid fundamentalist, and you're proof.

  • LivingDinosaur dun tore you a new one.

  • This was very painful to listen to.... *face + palm*

  • lololololol

This guy is a poe, right? I refuse to believe that anybody can be this stupid. That is my faith. I have faith that this guy is joking because I refuse to believe that he can actually be this stupid.

    Respect my faith. =p

  • @Zentz29 Obviously, your faith is stultifying. As all faith ;)

  • @M0rdH0rst ;)

  • You sir, are fucking idiot. That is all.

  • Go to Europe, the Middle East, the Orient and Africa, then tell me the world isn't overpopulated.

And btw, after million, it's billion, not trillion.

  • and comments will be disabled in 3,2,1...

  • Friends of mine who are religious (whom I got to watch) think this video makes all religious people look stupid. Thank you! You just made religious people look like laughing stocks.

  • @Mglosk

Luckily for you many atheists like myself realize not everyone is this painfully ignorant of the moron that have the gob to say we have plenty of food when a good portion of humanity is currently starving because there isn't enough of it.

Most religious people I know are sane, caring and loving people, worthy of Jesus' word. This guy is the type that would make Jesus weep and ragequit because he rather ignore reality and go with biblical literalism then actually follow Christian morals.

  • @gisellethegoat I know, a few of my friends who were over watched this video with me, and one of them had to leave the room and the other 2 facepalmed and thought this guy gives a bad name to Christianity. They were extremely embarrassed.

  • How does if feel to have TheLivingDinosaur so completely expose you as one of the big lying jackasses on the planet? Thanks again for the laughs keep them coming. LMAO!!!!!!

  • What a tard.

  • Cousteau was referring to limiting birth rate, not increasing death rate 350,000. You quote-mining fool.

  • The ignorance of this video makes my brain hurt..

  • Scriptures ?

So you're basing all this nonsense on... nonsense ?

No wonder why your argument fails so utterly.

  • Actually the human population growth is exponential.

  • Counting back from 7billion using your fixed numbers, how many did it take to build the pyramids? :)

  • Horseshit video.

  • Check out /watch?v=sRd9ROVTUek

a new response video to this one, by The LivingDinosaur

  • Aww, No Dislike/Dislike bar

  • @technonissen01 Of course ratings were disabled because he knew how dumb his video is, he knew he was lying, using strawman tactics, and quote mining, he knew he would be seen as ignorant, and foolish by any standard. My religious friend facepalmed. I mean it was so bad that people who believe in god can't watch it without laughing.

  • 4:05 : It's not wikipedia which claims humans have been around for approximately 200,000 years, it's archaeologists and geologists, specialists who understand the science.

Also anyone with a normal brain should understand that population growth has never been constant, so your logic is flawed. Ever heard of the baby boom? Yes you have. You know and everyone knows reproduction rates were never constant, so creationists, stop humiliating yourselves and stop using that ridiculous argument.

  • What you are saying is ridiculous. Reproduction is a matter of resources, we don't reproduce at a certain magically fixed rate.

  • Are you insane??... you do realize that its not just about "room for houses", its about fertile soil, maintaining key ecosystems and their respective services that make life possible and regulate the many biochemical cycles that drive our biosphere... I am an environmental scientists and to anyone listening to this nut job... please don't.

  • It's interesting that Ian Juby can stand there looking like he does and even suggest that he has access to the same nutritional assets as a Palaeolithic hunter- gatherer.

  • so your god who killed the entire population on earth except some fictitious guy and his family because he built a boat and rounded up every single animal on earth ,,,oh yea the boat was 200 feet long ..you are an ass. this idiot also flunked math, science and life, your MATH never accounted for stilborn, death at birth of mother and child.oh and a guy rose from the dead ha,yipers

  • Couldn't you have added at least one or two pitch shifts of the guitar sample? You know, something like a 12 bar? The repetition is so numbingly distracting, it was hard to get through your otherwise amazing content. Excellent stuff.

Sorry to be a critic. Regardless, I'm subbing. Got to share you around. Thanks goes out to 'onceforgivennowfree'.

  • The argument boils down to "I don't understand carrying capacity, therefore god"

  • I cant watch any of IJ fiction - not enough jokes ! Apart from the obvious (disease , life expectancy etc) does he allow for war ?

Does it include that in several hundred religious wars alone , religion has killed more than the entire planet ?

[Add up #killed / earth #population for each war, then normalise to today's population]

  • @AetheismRules Tthat's where philosophy fails you. It is devoid of fact. Truth is Atheism via the state have killed as many or more than the wars of Christianity. Which in fact were not always fought by the faithful. Stalin killed conservatively 50 million. Historians looking at the records are saying Mao did at least 60 million. And this of course does not factor in the Marxist revolutions of Africa and SE Asia. So next time you strike down Christianity get your facts straight.

  • Animals and insects eat the dead!

  • By your logic of growth rate, bacteria should've taken over the world and should be several miles in depth over all of the planet. But that doesn't happen because of the amount of resources available to them....

  • You're not taking into account the land needed for food and livestock.

Don't forget that we can't live in most places, due to desert, mountains, oceans, ice..... etc...

  • 'Creation Science' is my favourite oxymoron. Loving it.

  • Why am I still surprisd by your stupidity? Why do I still think you people may have valid points?

  • if the human population was 8 people so recently we would see a genetic bottleneck like we do with the cheetah's genome. Where did the various races come from? the 8 people on Noah's ark must have repopulated the earth FAST and evolved into asians and africans fast!!

the pyramids were built about a hundred years after the supposed flood of Noah, did those 8 people have enough grandchildren for all the slaves? and kings? a hierarchy like that couldn't develop so fast

  • Comment removed

  • Great video. Thanks Ian!

  • Anyone that doesn't see the fallacy of the population being what it is now from people living millions of years on this earth is either not mathematically inclined, (simple or complex) or they just don't want there to be a God so bad, that they are willing to believe a lie. hmmm ... I've read that somewhere.

  • @AndyG792 You have that completely backwards. Creationist want to support their preconceived bias so badly that they'll remain completely ignorant of actual data, in this case, carrying capacity.

  • Fantastic Ian! Numerically proof positive.

  • Biggest douche bag in the FEC movement.

  • No population, human or other animal, has a steady growth rate. You might as well look at a 12 year old, watch them grow for a year, and deduce that in 10 years time they'll be 100 feet tall. It's an incorrect way of interpreting a situation. Even in the previous 200 years of documented human history there are cases of significant population decrease. Do you ignore these deliberately? Or if you framed your question during a population drop, would you assume we were going extinct?

  • Mr Wazalloo, have you considered what the needs of these 7 billion people are? Whether there is enough food and water to go around? How we are going to find the energy sources to supply electricity to homes around the world? I get the impression you have not thought this one through properly.

  • @12tod You first then? There is more than enough to supply for our needs. It's the way everything is set up.

Unoptimized, unstructured, if we didn't 1% own 90% of the world cake then we wouldn't have these problems.

  • @Stianchez so true.

  • @Stianchez so you are saying that this is an argument? An argument starting with if, is not an argument. Sorry to break this to you, but distribution is taken into acount when discussing carrying capacity. Food produced in Mexico doesn't help people living in Somalia.

Also do you know that industrialized agriculture is fairly recent?

Do you know that world population was ~3billion one century ago?

Do you think carrying capacity is proportional to area?

  • @assalane Which reply are you replying to

  • Source plz .

  • @WHOwasTALKINGtoYOU who are you talking to?

  • Ian I want you to look up the concept of carry capacity and then rethink your argument.

  • @sweatytoothmadman Did you ever figure out the innervation of the heart yet? I recall you talking all bad against creationists how we did not study science, when it is clear you don't. I suggest reading some actual science texts and not a high school biology textbook or regurgitating some erroneous pontification from an anticreationist website. Perhaps then you will have the knowledge and intellectual fortitude to evaluate what is being said in these videos.

  • @thinkingman07

What are you talking about "innervation of the heart yet"?

  • @sweatytoothmadman Go back and look at your posts where you blasted God and Creationist for the absurd innervation of the heart, which you actually had wrong.

  • Way to go, Ian! Since I know a bit about nuclei, what convinces me that earth is not as old as billions of years is that using the same nuclear decay series that give these big numbers will also give similar long times ago for volcanic eruptions that happened in my lifetime. So logically I am also a billion years old, or at least several million. Check it out.

  • @nancyschmeing Mm.

How have you dealt with all the other, and a majority of measurements which do not give recently disturbed materials that age, and which do give some materials unearthed a very old age?

  • @nancyschmeing You should apply that argument to their pwnage contest. make a video ;)

  • First most people espousing the modern medical mythology that we are dramatically living longer than even a 100 yrs ago are seriously deluded. Neither historical records or demographic data support that. It is a statistical hoax. Second, the earth's population will be soon to decrease. The obesity epidemic alone in the US forced scientists to concluded in the NEJM 05' article that Americans are going to suffer a dramatic reduction in lifespan. In addition birth rates have declined in the West.

  • @thinkingman07 And this of course does not take into account that even in the 3rd world like Africa the AIDS epidemic has dramatically reduced whole cities and populations. Furthermore, the increasing incidences of autoimmune dz and autism in 1st world nations has insured us that not only will the next generation live shorter, but will also be unable to function as well. Those who believe in this Darwin dream of population reduction (philosophy) are in an intellectual coma.

  • @thinkingman07 I notice you have joined the clique of creationists who haven't answered my very simple questions regarding population.

  • @TheScienceFoundation What in the world is that?

  • @thinkingman07 I've been asking since the day this video came out

Do you know when the most significant spike in the global population occurred?

Do you know when the most rapid advancement in infrastructure, medicine and agriculture occurred?

    No one has answered.

    Hint; They're the same period.

  • @TheScienceFoundation There is a difference between when you think the world exploded in population and when you think advancements in medicine occurred. The problem is that prior to the Dark ages you had cities like Rome holding over a million people with running water and proper sanitation. Prior to them nearly every ancient civilization had similar massive cities with flourishing populations.

  • @thinkingman07 No there's not, they're literally the same exact period.

The fact that you dodged my questions should've told you that

  • @TheScienceFoundation I am not sure what your area of expertise is, I presume not history because what I am saying is fact. There are plenty of sources in English, Latin, and Greek to support what I am saying about ancient civilizations and population.

  • @thinkingman07 I never said there weren't local variations in population, but there has not been anything even resembling the growth I'm referring to, a 700% increase in global population in just about 200 years.

  • @thinkingman07 I enjoy you trying to answer a scoffer, but as you can see you've clearly proven your point, but he just wont listen. Bible tells you to ignore the scoffers if they are not willing to listen.

    Goodjob though =)

  • @Stianchez So the people who wrote the bible had the good sense to know there might be those who weren't going to believe it.

  • @TheScienceFoundation For once I am going to agree with you. The people who wrote the Bible did know that people would not agree with it. Jeremiah himself experienced first hand when the King of Judah burned his scroll because it condemned the king's policy. That is the beauty of the Bible it cuts those who claim to be believers the most, but also convicts the whole world sin, righteousness, and judgment. It is fair. God shows no partiality.

  • @thinkingman07 Well hard to be biased if you dont exist !!

  • @Stianchez Thanks. I know that the 'pseudo' sciencefoundation won't listen, but he responds to all of Ian's post, so I figured I should show him the courtesy of responding back every now and again. Even if he does not listen some else can read what we write and make up there own mind or do their own research.

  • @TheScienceFoundation Medicine from Greece and Egypt was far more advanced than what we had in early 19th century. What caused a massive spike in population growth after the dark ages were numerous family farms lowering the cost of nutritious food and sanitation in large cities. These all occurred at various times, at least in the U.S. However, Allopathy as a medical philosophy fell out of favor in the U.S. until the invention of antibiotics until 1930's

  • @thinkingman07 'hat caused a massive spike in population growth after the dark ages were numerous family farms

Now you're getting it, population growth is dependent on resources. More farms means more food which means more people live longer to contribute to the global population.
