  • JUST A KNUCKLEBALL WITH ANOTHER NAME AND PLACE.

  • NVA is that like PF Changs or Panda Express? Eitherway this Taiwanese Baseball player and his Communist baseball have already done enough damage to the Korean Peninsula. Free China!

  • how am i inconsiderate? Ho chi minhs the one that lead china's communist revolution, I was against it.

what would make me feel incompetent around a tem of 4 foot tall middle aged men with small penises? what are they gona go kung fu on me? i doubt it, he can barely theow a ball right

  • @Thallod

You are an idiot, Ho Chi Min was the NVA's leader :/

  • I thot baseball was illegal in communist countries.. Why is this chinese guy pitching when he should be at a swet shop? I take shits that move faster than that ball.

  • @Thallod Asshole, they are Japanese not Chinese -.-'

  • wow, Aaron Boone would absolutely tee off on this guy lmao

  • 92 km/h = 57mph = no problem chewing gum while pitching

  • shake ball+ my bat= home run and pitching change

  • @fbravis doubt it

  • @h0ckyplayathrty1 hes throwing it like 30 mph

  • ya but anyone literaly anyone could it jack of this guy

  • i love ho he thinks he is so badass for throwing 60-70 mph in a japenese league

  • @baseball47420 He got the out, didn't he? xD

  • what it is like i think its kinda like a knuckleball well thats what it kinda looks like

  • those balls they use in Japan are basically whiffle balls. Try throwing that pitch with an official MLB baseball and it wont do shit.

  • Like a BOWSS.

  • so

  • i guarantee he doesnt have a sore arm after he pitches haha

  • Haha stepped it up to 92kph for the strikeout lol

  • No wander he doesnt play in MLB he would get smashed

  • @IwantAnExogrid Daic ortiz saw a pitch like this it was 55 mph on a 0-2count it was a called strike he turned to the ump and laughed.

  • wow. that is crazy, the delivery is funny. embarrassing to the batter who got struck out

  • @renshumainichi What an idiot!

  • those batters blow at batting. cant even hit a slow as hell ball

  • it seems like a college football atmosphere in japanese baseball.....

  • 0:16, Framing?!?

  • ooh its a knuckleball sort of

  • so i guess anything goes in japan.. pitchers can pitch with sunglasses on

  • what an ass

  • The pitcher is sooo badass.

  • Its just a knuckleball!!

    And it stinks badly...

  • Its just a knuckleball!!

  • Looks like a knuckleball to me...

  • for those that are curious: he throws 4 "shake balls," which are basically knuckleballs thrown with a split-finger grip. if you think it can't be real, just watch tim wakefield pitch (on the bar to your right), it's the same smooth, easy delivery.

  • that is nasty

  • at a blazing speed of 3 mph

  • @ renshumainichi you guys send your best japanese and Korean players while America has to send minor leaguers because the best major leaguers are playing or getting ready for the season

  • For all of you who are from "America, where real baseball is played" I would like to remind you that between Japan and Korea, you have had your ass hole torn four different ways between the WBC and the Olympics. Bitch.

  • @renshumainichi Nobody gives a shit about baseball in America. Only a hand full of people honestly think its Americas past time the rest know its football

  • @renshumainichi LOL seems you dont know to much. If only the US could use its "Best" players

  • he would have an era of 81 after 1 inning in the majors

  • asians are obviously blind look at the catcher framing everything and getting the strike call

  • @DaIndianMan2010 Stereotypically racist. Good job, douche.

  • They have some sick jerseys :D

  • @0:35

thats one hell of a frame job.

  • @duswdav :20 too! I was looking at it like, WOW

  • You can throw whatever up by 9 lol

  • nips

  • Wow, If i was the batter I probably had hit a home-run with that pitch here in high school league pitchers throw way faster than this and has better control ... man he sux ...

  • @odaleroxas you DO realize that this isn't how Komiyama actually pitches right? That is just one of his pitches. He can throw much harder and with more control... I'd like to see you hit his ACTUAL pitches.

  • here in America where real baseball is played we would call that man a bush leaguer!

  • He looks badass. That's the laziest delivery I've ever seen, yet it works. It's pretty insulting to the batter, then he just walks off like "yeah I wasn't even trying".

  • @HiTEqMETHOD dont forget that handlebar moustache haha

  • @HiTEqMETHOD Plus he has shade on

  • 1:02

    You know what though?.......If he HAD hit that thing....it would have been G O N E !!!

  • @ESPsandEmgs i doubt it

  • @ESPsandEmgs Yeah, IF!

  • @ESPsandEmgs "if he had hit it" he only missed by a foot

  • @ESPsandEmgs lol but he didnt

  • @ESPsandEmgs

but the thing is he didnt.

  • @ESPsandEmgs actually the faster the ball is comeing at you the more force you can put on it to send it the other way. thats why when you see professional baseball players hitting fastballs they go much further because all the energy goes in one direction unlike a head on car crash where the energy goes in both directions

  • @ninjaturtletyke55555

Thats true...but it doesn't mean they can't hit a 40mph ball out of the park!

In fact, back in my playing days, I used to take a bucket of balls to home plate, toss them up into the air and hit them out of the park, it is EASYER to hit a fastball out, but ANY PITCH can go yard, just trust me. Professional hitters can take ANY pitch out of the park.

  • @ESPsandEmgs yes sir

  • wow, baseball is pretty normal in asia

  • @patpatomegatron In Japan.

  • @incrowdcynic japan is a country in asia

  • aka a knuckleball

  • thats embarrasing to pitch like that?!

  • @thataussiekid01 No... It's embarrassing to strike out to a delivery like that. xD

  • 審判も精一杯見ている

  • wtf !!!??

  • it isnt even moving????????

  • @ecdcheerleader lol, stand in the batters box, you'll think differently afterwards

  • He is a cross between Wakefield and Moyer

  • It's pretty cocky to throw that trash four times in a row, but just look at that fourth pitch. With the spin on it, the quick drop, what looks like strong winds moving it, that's a damn near unhittable toss. You can either drill it foul or swing through it and look like a jackass, but even an MLB all-star would get twisted in knots with something that dirty

  • 日高なんか,可哀想

  • In America this guy would be jacked out of the park every pitch haha

  • @dabears5400 thats why he is there

  • what? ur not allowed to wear sun glasses on the mound!

  • can someone explained what happened here?

  • @derenkoff This guy is throwing a knuckleball with a forkball grip. You need long fingers to perform this pitch.

  • @linkin49park182 No you don't. I've got short ass fingers, I used to throw it once or twice every game in high school. Wasn't a work-horse pitch, but used sparingly, it took guys off guard.

  • GENIUS!

  • is it just me, or do the umpires up there not have a clue? in so many videos the umpires up there call strikes when the catcher does a crappy framing job. its kinda funny.

  • is a shake ball a knuckeball?

  • the crowd luvs it, and they KNOW baseball, believe me. people posting here that think a delivery is all about speed apparently never had a bat in their hand and a good pitcher confronting them. If you cant read the ball you will only hit it by chance. It s as simple as that. Balls that are drooling with effect just are virtually impossible to read.

  • nips

  • 4 shake ball? No! Knuckleball

  • i'd like to see him throw that using an official MLB baseball . those japanese balls have extra dance in them

  • ***GUYS! i made a tutorial on this pitch! it's the only shakeball tutorial on youtube!!!

  • @im99mining.... first off he's play pro ball so he's already better than you, second your not supposed to throw breaking balls 90-95, and third if he gets batters out then he's a good pitcher

  • how u throw a shake ball

  • He wouldent even be in the majors if it weren't for him having that pitch.. I mean he doesent even throw hard at all just look at his delivery.. He's probly only throwing like 60 or something he's not getting his body into It at all

  • @im99mining Your absolutely dumb. First off some ppl change there delivery for off speed pitches. I do. Second its not all about speed. Look at tim wakefield he used to throw high 90's before he threw knuckleballs. He now barely throws 90 now. Speaking of him ive seen him throw his knuckleball so many different ways. So next time you start talking crap get your facts straight then we will talk.

  • @cadenrox23 ..........he never threw 90? his fastballs are like 75.... not barely 90.

  • @MDFromNC13 Yes he did it was before he threw a knuckleball he used to throw heat!

  • @cadenrox23 You're completely wrong, he used to be a 1st baseman, and then he immediately switched to throwing the Knuckleball, developed it with the pirates throwing that same way. You can look it up yourself if you want.

  • @cadenrox23 I think you are talking about mile per hour ... are you ?

  • @ripousse nope.

  • @im99mining about 55 mph yes...

    90 kmh....

  • a shake ball is a forkball with knuck rotation. Jake Schmit, a former teammate of mine throws one, but he calls it a "Spluck" or "spluckleball" (combination of splitter and knuckle)

  • is that really hard to hit for some reason...

  • @TheMrTHelmer yes because pro players are used to seeing 85-95 and he's coming in with 55.

  • @MDFromNC13 yeah but they are professional so they should know how to wait back and just tee off on him

  • @TheMrTHelmer The Niekro brothers combined for over 500 MLB wins throwing the same speed. There is more to pitching than throwing hard. Granted, throwing hard DOES make it easier.

  • thats a knuckleball douche :)

  • major leaguer would crush that.

    Hell, I'd crush it.

  • @noahmcdx idk you would say that about a knuckleball itself but a knuckleballer will have a super long and mostly sucessful career for a reason. That out pitch looked pretty severe

  • @noahmcdx no, you wouldnt. he'd throw the shake, you'd foul it off, then he'd , come back with a fastball on the inside corner and saw you off. Douche

  • @noahmcdx no you wouldnt he would strike you out with three straight pitches.

  • @ThePitchersArsenal WOW your video actually shows how to throw the shake ball.

  • @americanflag1111 i told you!

  • wheres the effort? o wait they are chinese there is no such thing as effort to them

  • he might suck but man he looks good doing it....

  • Its knuckling but he is holding it with a split-grip. Basically a knuckling forkball.

  • is it a knuckle ball?

  • If you watch the ball real close. its like a curve ball but the ball is shaking left to right and up and down

  • dang it looks to me like these are just hanging right over the heart of the plate lol

  • Hanger Banger

  • What's so special?

  • The japanese strike zone is much bigger than the American one.

  • what the fuck is a shake pitch. looks like a bad eephus

  • @CFlaherty93 its a knuckle

  • @Quantum1Void. You're a faggot. You're not unique in any way, shape or form, other than your waterfilled head and gigantic tongue, because you have down syndrome.

  • more like a hanger banger ball

  • @furriesbaseball take it Oppo Taco...

  • @furriesbaseball its a knuckle retard

  • Haha this is the same way I grip my knuckle...no wonder why no one elses is like mine. This pitch is perfect for starting the count.

  • just for anyone who thinks that the secondpitch is called a strike ... it isnt the batter had 1 strike b4 the first pitch 2 after the first pitch the second pitch was a ball and the third pitch was a swung on strike

  • 0:18 = worst frame EVER!!! umpire is stupid

  • @TheGrix2112 the strikezone in Japan is different than in the US. That's all, no one is stupid.

  • what the heck is "Shake Ball"? isn't it basically knuckleball? but it seems like he's holding the ball with just two fingers

  • @TheGoldenWater you only hold a knuckleball with two fingers (or do you include the thumb?)

  • @Anglefan12 guys! i have a video tutorial on the grip and how to throw it on my channel!

  • @TheGoldenWater supposedly, Komiyama held and threw it sort of like a forkball, but with some exaggerated wrist motion (the wrist is supposed to pronate when you throw a fork).

  • @SoftBank47 that is really strange.

  • @TheGoldenWater i have the tutorial on my channel. go see the grip and how to throw it

  • i want that hat any one know were i can get it??

  • @megamurg your mom asshole cause its shit ugly

  • What a stud! He tipped his cap. Fucking classic!!!

  • Can't u hit this?

  • lol is this a joke???

  • Offbdwy...whatever u want to call it, it's definitely not just an eephus. An eephus is nothing more than a lob. This ball has some "action" to it. The explanation that it's a knuckleball gripped like a forkball makes the most sense to me. It just looks like a forkball type of rotation and movement but thrown with eephus velocity. I welcome innovation, but this pitch by itself is not nearly enough to compete even as a reliever in MLB

  • its not a knuckleball, there was spin on it. he just gave an irregular spin with flicking his wrist like a curve ball using a different grip

  • 1:18 that guy's jersey says "O RLY" lol

  • I'm fucking sick of pitchers from Japan claiming to make up new pitches. It's not a new pitch. It is an eephus pitch and it has been around for a very long time. it's not a fucking 4 shake ball. The gyroball is a fucking screwball, it's not a gyroball. Pitchers are not video game heros who each have their own secret move.

  • omg i would rip his shit so badddd

  • his motion looks like tim wakefield because it has too, he's not throwing a "shake ball" it's called a knuckleball, no spin means random effects on the aerodynamics

  • his pitching motion looks just like tim wakefield

  • 日高何もできてないやん

  • It's a knuckleball gripped like a fork ball. That's what Komiyama said.

  • OMG 93 k/ph thats almost 60mph

  • Satoru Komiyama throws about mid 50's, I converted the speed and its not called a shake ball it's called a Knuckle ball. Satoru Komiyama is basically like Tim Wakefield, but he plays baseball in Japan and people can sometimes hit a homerun off Tim Wakefield, but it's fun to watch batters humilate themselves.

    Yankees 2011 World Series Champions

  • knuckleball just like the "gyro" is just a sinker. Still got a badd ass look though with the aviator shades lol

  • One thing is for sure, he would never have to worry about blowing his arm out. He could play well into his 40s with that delivery, if successful in the MLB.

  • nice sun glasses! and a bad ass mustache too! i'd like to grow a mustache just like that

  • Japense Tim Wakefield

  • @MILM0E ahahahha ya kinda looks` him

  • no... im pretty sure the mound is the same distance... 60ft

  • all tough with his fucking glasses and bad ass mustache wow hes so cool cause he cant even throw to the plate so he aims slightly higher and it drops

  • hahahahaha this guy needs to be in the bigs it would be graet
