  • They just don't make movies like this any more

  • 0:16 I love that scene "Eh?.....Lost..."

  • 4 people have no taste

  • Always makes me laugh when I see any of those scenes.

  • The craziest man in the whole Air Force.

  • Hard to believe they made that guy an officer, isn't it? lol

  • Im a pilot, there are many of us up there, crazy Son of a bitch!!

  • How odd. The resemblance between the fictional Kelso and the historical Gen. Curtis LeMay.

    Coincidence?

  • syanora sucker!!!!!!!!!!!! hahahhahaha!!!!!!!

  • Pulling up to the pump in a P-40. It's genius. Genius, I tell you!

  • What an asshole!

  • "Let me hear 'ya guns"

  • Hysterical. Saw one of those fly for real at Geneseo Warplane Museum in WNY; unfortunately they cracked it up in the mid 90's; bad fuel? Spielberg et al was probly too smart to run pump gas through a V-12 Allison expecting 100 octane.

  • holly-WOOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • i bet his name was inspired by a character in the party

  • Thumbs up if you relized that was the wrong modle p 40!

  • That is the craziest SOB I ever saw lol

  • My personal theory about Wild Bill Kelso is that he's a war scarred former Flying Tiger, recently recruited into the USAAF.

  • Spielberg's best work in my opinion. Very underrated movie.

  • "That's the craziest son-of-a-bitch I ever saw. How many more like him do you think are up there?"

  • let me hear your guns

  • Possibly one of Spielberg's greatest efforts - and his most underated.

  • That is the crasiest son of a bitch I ever saw... :-P

  • even the way he says "lost" is funny... thanks for the upload!!

  • 0:45 - 1:25 The gas station Snakeorama and the actor Lucille Benson from the movie Duel (1971).

  • A movie about an albanian drunk?

  • What is it about the aircraft of WW2 that gives them a beauty and dignity that the jet aircraft of today don't have?

  • @william76950 I'm with ya about the jets. Some anyway. Who doesn't like a F-15?

  • @william76950

It's hard to put into words but I totally agree with you, they are magnificent machines

  • Brilliant, my favourite scenes from '1941' are with Wild Bill Kelso. Not mentioning seeing good old Curtiss P-40 in action. Thanks for publishing!

  • can somebody put the whole movie up please thanks

  • MY FAVORITE PART OF THE WHOLE FILM...........THE LATE GREAT JOHN (WILD BILL KELSO) BELUSHI !!!! GOD REST HIS RESTLESS SOUL.

  • Get yourself a gps Bill

  • Love the sound of that P40!

  • lmFao....so I guess the p40 has propwash like a rotor the size of texas now?

  • Those canyon flying scenes & the landing on the road was some quality stuff in this movie. Who doesn't like the P 40?

  • @kolbpilot

I THINK THE REAL PILOT WAS THE GREAT FRANK TALLMAN

  • Saw this in the theater when it was released. Have the LP soundtrack and the magazine.

  • i still wanna know what happens after he finds his way onto that jap sub haha

  • Kelso: "Fill er' up, with ethyl."

Woman: Looking up and down plane, "Where?"

    Priceless.

  • Send Wild Bill back into AZ. He'll find those Japs and illegals. Notice gas station is secret ICE headquarters. My favorite comedy of all time.

  • I have a full size P-40 replica in my back yard. Look at the size of that thing- no wonder I have no room to move around

  • nice landing =P

  • crazie and wounderful movie

  • If they ever remake this movie, I think Jack Black would be perfect for reenact Capt. Bill's part!!!

  • First Class!

  • Never get tired of this clip !!! lol

  • I love this movie!

    critics are wrong.

  • @monkeynuts76 Damn Right

  • @monkeynuts76 This movie was made before silly movies were cool! ahead of it's time.. now look at all the silly movies they make now!!

  • what does he say at the end?

    sayonara...(sucker???)

  • America's True HERO!!!

  • Wild Bill Kelso is the greatest hero of all time! :D

  • RIP John, you changed cinema aviation lol

  • Is Wild Bill supposed to be a Flying Tiger? Those guys were nuts. They were flying mercs recruited in China.

  • Not exactly: the P-40 model of the Flying Tigers (or AVG -American Volunteer Group) was older (though in this movie they pretend this P-40 to be one of such model); and they wore Chinese insignia, while this one bears US markings.

  • @AlanMartinNala couldn't he be an ex-flying tiger, now enlisted in the USAAF?

  • I´m not sure. This film is supposed to be settled few days after Pearl Harbor, in Dec 1941, but the AVG was active and fighting at that same time (it disappeared in March 1942). In other words, I find it chronologically unlikely, since nobody can be in two (or more) places at the same time... unless WBK abandoned the AVG or was fired from it soon enough to turn an US pilot and find him flying over the Grand Cannyon (and Hollywood) while the AVG was fighting in China... A bit messy, I know.

  • i know they was like--this is a store not a airport

  • hes not dead so he( is )the best- jaws , jurrassic park, drool drool -- i forgot 1941 is a speilberg flik

  • the craziest son of a bitch I ever saw,how many more do you think are up there

  • John and the P 40! My favorits!

  • I'm going to have to go rent it this weekend. Haven't seen it in ages. Great stuff!

  • Wild Bill would have fought the whole japanese airforce by his own!!!

  • @Lusth0g And won

  • Damn, Sky Captain really let himself go over the past few years.

  • @SCE2AUX HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!

  • @SCE2AUX

lol, your comment made my day.

  • LOL Maureen Johnson.

  • booklegging should truly be done with this amount of style

  • hahah Maureen

  • Classic!

  • Good old "Texas Switch" at 1:08

  • "Lost!" John could get more laughs out of a single word than anybody else.

  • Not that anybody cares, but that's a nice little "slip" the pilot pulls to put that bird on the road at 0:42

  • Little rough on the gears but good non the less.

  • Actually, I care!!! What a great move, and he kept the landing gear under him!

  • CAN OPENER !!!! smash!!!!!...i laugh my ass off everytime i watch it

  • The entrance John makes at the beginning of this movie is classic! Thanks so much for posting.

  • My favorite is the opening

scene. The naked girl is on

top of the periscope of the

    Japanese Sub. A Japanese sailor

    looks up and exclaims "Howeywuud"

  • Lol yeah, that scene is damn nice!!! But Belushi´s charcter is so fuckin awsome: I bet he´d beat the crap outta the whole jap airforce all alone if he´d got enough ammo ;-)

  • ...and not to mention that old man called "Hollis Wood"

    LOL :-)

  • one of the most under-rated movies in the last 40 years. simply a Classic!

  • Fill 'er up! ... Where? lol

    One of my Favorite Movies!

  • The best part of the movie!! 5 stars!!!

  • "That is the craziest son of a bitch i ever saw...how many more like him do you think are up there?" lmfao.

  • That man is my vote for the most tragic loss in the history of comedy.

  • Since I saw that movie as a kid,P-40 is my favorite WWII fighter.

    I love it.
