I think that, in general, it has been the Arabs that have been unwilling to make peace. Israel, after all, did return the Sinai to Egypt in exchange for peace and in accordance with UN resolution 242. However, I think that Israel wants to intimidate the Palestinians with force so that they will feel they have no choice BUT to accept peace or be destroyed.

What did I just say? Did you even read it? I said there WEREN'T any muslims or Christians, but there WERE JEWS. That land was promised to ABRAHAM, i don't know where your getting this "ibrahim" because he isn't in the Bible. And the land was passed not to all Abraham's children. It went from Abraham, then to Issac, and then to his grandson Issac and his future generations. In case you don't know who this was, it was the JEWS.

Sorry its Abraham and if you want to go back far enough it was actually Abram. Judaism also happens to be the worlds oldest religion and the teachings of the Jewish traditions started with Abraham. From the sounds of it you think the land belongs to a bunch of muslims and not Jews. If you want to debate of that you might want to think twice. Every arab painted a target on the Jews when the British talked about giving them land, so yeah, they had a problem with the Jews...and the Jews didn't start a war, they fought for their survival from arabs when they declared their independence. The Jews also never "declared war on their own country." They went to war with a people that wanted to see the Jews out of the area, an area that is rightfully theirs.
