I went to the sears store today and I heard the salvation army bells ringing, I put all the change I had and Grabbed a bill and Put it into the Donation Bin. Nobody around was donating to him at all, and the guy looked very discouraged before I was there. When I donated I said, God Bless, and then The guy started Singing Jingle Bells, I got a little choked up and thought to myself, This Guy Singing Jingle Bells, Just Made My Day. Happy Holidays

The Salvation Army has changed my life, if ever so slightly.

They have taken me from where I was unemployed and at the mercy of others and given me a job.

I now beg publicly.

I used to rely on the charity of others.

I now watch donations meant to help me, go to the Salvation Army while I receive as little as the law allows them to pay.

The Salvation Army took me from a bad situation, made it public and takes a cut for doing it.
