Because, firstly, Mongols invaded Islamic Capital Baghdad and sacked it. Killed virtually all the scholars, burned libraries and took it back to stone age. Then, the Mongols ruled Mid-East/Central Asia for another 300 yrs. Imagine, what would have happened had the same fate happened to Western Europe (Mongol Invasion)?. Eastern Europe faced Mongol invasion, now look where is East Europe compared to West Europe.

the history about islam's far greater than cristianaty, history even though islam was after christ and before they came to europe they had e.g bagdad was better city than it is today and europeans had nothing and when they came to europe you learned a lot from them. but now europeans do not want to hear that history even when talking about science. thats yes the romans defeated the islam in europe. but they never show the facts on TV. that the the truth does it hurt? peace bro

i dont know what you mean man, every nation/empire has contributed to the world. i dont think anyone would say that the Arab/turks have not? simple different Empire working different ways, arabs/turks used Islam as a way of life, europesans/christians made a society as a way of life. Christianity was not an empre ruling and taking other countries, like Islam did, other wise we would be talkingabout arab and turk empire rather than Islamic empire

yes i know about those things and im not saying they are just and Islam had its share of forcful conversions also. I also know that Islam states to wage war against those who push you from your land, they Reconquesta was exactly that, what christians did in spain and anywhere else had been done already in Islam

Islam was always spread by peace. You do not know history. You only listened to your biased popes, priests, and historians. The so called 'Reconquesta' was nothing more than Christians forcing their religion on groups of people that have lived their in peace for over 700 years.

nope, you are wrong and the Islamic population is in denial and always will be. the Reconquesta was taking back the lands that were once christian, and, as the leaders were christian, then so were the people, just as where Islamc leaders conqured, their people were Islamic.

I am a muslim, I haven't read the whole bible to be honest, but I'm sure at the dark ages christianity was abused and kings used it as an excuse to control people which drove their people away from their religion.

It explains why even now most of christian countries separate law from the religion (christianity).

unfortunately at this era, Islam is being abused sometimes as an excuse to do things that are totally against islamic teachings.
