This brings a smile upon my face. I know how to play this a little bit at a time, but not from start to finish with a metronome yet.
I'm really impressed. You inspire me to actually slow down my metronome and get it start to finish. Nice job.
Thank god for tabs though lol cause I cheated with tabs. I tried to learn this for the longest time by trying to figure out how the chords would map out but oh my god, when I realized there is a tab of this song, I nearly jumped! :D
Hi Julie, I have posted a video of my 12-year old daughter playing the piece using tirando with the a finger on the melody. At first, I also advised her to use apoyando. But I later suggested her to use tirando for developing a stronger and smoother right hand technique, especially when you are a beginner. She has only started sort of learning the guitar from me since April this year. Grateful for your comment.
Hi Julie, I have just posted a video of my 12 -year old daughter...whom I have taught to play the piece. She has only started learning the guitar since Arpil this year. I first advised her to use apoyando on the melody but now I changed my mind by asking her to use tirando instead, the result of which is shown in the video. Using tirando helps the player to acquire a smoother right hand technique, especially in the case of a beginner. Grateful for your comment?
Now here's a video going back huh Julie? You know though, that no matter how far you go back, your classical interpretations are all timeless pieces. Thanks for uploading Julie and giving everone the pleasure of hearing you.
Take some of these comments with a grain of salt - It is more important to play the notes well than to play fast. You did a good job. On a constructive note, I would like to hear a more clear bass voice, especially in the second part. Nice work.
Hello Julie. You have done it a bit slow. But even then it sounds nice.I saw a video on Carcassi's Study No.7(Allegro) done deliberately slow but listening to it was a wonderful experience. So take comfort from the feeling that you have done your best.Good luck.
julie i never new that this is M. C A-dur Etude i just did that too and now i looking for someone who can give the name for it. Thx for this nice musical compilation, i see you a lot . Best Regards!
Such a lovely piece, and u play with great pace and sense of melody. Thanks so much, this is what I first watched when I came home from work tonight, And I am glad! take care, Buddybear.

Nice comment GSG.
Good to see that you are encouraging budding musicians, especially on 4 year old vids.
I also note that you have 0 posts and think that Phil Collins is a good drummer.
Ooops...I think that a good drummer would disagree with you..as would half of Pink Floyd..
As for a guitarist, I don't know yet...but I think it would be interesting to see/hear.
In the meantime.....keep very quiet!

Great piece...nicely played.
I play this one too, but little faster. I was listening to Liona Boyd's version and she plays faster. I like the way you play it too.
I was wondering is your guitar on a stand when you play?

It sounds better played faster.

@luicho0303 "etude" is "study" in French and Italian. As Matteo Carcassi was Italian, the piece is called "etude"
