i liked 3 not as bad as people made it out to be , but not a VH album cons songs were too long , production was terrible cherone voice was strained n grating how many say i is terrible there were no songs written at all well , all seem to be put togethers cherone on stage is diff pros eddies guitar was great live n on the album cherone played all the roth songs cherone is a better frontman then hagar. band sounded great one i want, dirty water dog r great songs

I saw them twice in '98, they were awesome live with Gary. Way better than that show I saw with Dave in '07. Eddie was in top form in '98, he was nowhere near this level in '04 or '07.

Ughhh... Cherone blows so hard I think he should be renamed Andrew... and in Hurricane Andrew. What a bad choice... one of the best rock bands ever and they end up taking on this cheesebag who doesn't even fit in with the vibe of the band.

I don't really know why but in this video Ed reminds me of Steve Vai. The solo is flawless. Reminds me of Fair Warning Eddie. Good thing he's back to that level know. Check out his playing from the Quebec 2008 show. Especially Hot For Teacher and Romeo Delight.

i do like his tone though. it seems like a really gritty tone. heavy distortion. the way i see it is.

Old school eddie + van halen III tone + sammy hagar vocals = awesome van halen.
