It's possible that orb could be paranormal, otherwise your cat wouldn't had been startled like that. In some cases orbs can be mistaken as dust or a bug. I could of confirmed it if you was actually videotaping it instead of taking pictures of the scene. Then i would of had a better understanding.
My cat just died yesterday, used my digital cam in the basement, got many of these some rise and follow a pattern from smallest to biggest, than id get the very big single ones aswell in the cats favorite spots, bed, near food bowl etc. same as yours in this vid, also got a strange pink ball of light, hrmmm i wonder if it would have been there anyway, did read up about orbs n cams! but still i like to believe. :)

My cat and dog both seem to look at the orbs. My dog will bark then I get out the camera a usually see them.

1. A semi or darken room,
2. A light dust, mist, rain, or snow passing close, in front of the camera lens.
3. Force flash on.
4. Orbs you will find! (from the flash's light reflecting on the off focus particle etc, etc etc)
