@rickluna1000 I own a Castaway 116 Deluxe Sit-On-Top Kayak with RAM-X hull and deck. I got it at academy and I added the Garmin Fish Finder 140 that I got at Wal-Mart.com for about $100usd. If you have a chance, stop at your local shop with your favorite reel and sit it on the Veritas rod. That is one way you’ll find out first hand if it’s worth the investment. If you ask me, I can only tell you that it has contributed to my performance. Totally worth it!
Can I tell you that this brought back some wonderful memories of me growing up and my sister and mom taking me crabbing and fishing. You are giving them great tools for the future of fish preservation and also giving them some awesome memories im sure they will never forget. Great job taking them out fishing, keep it up brotha.
