  • talk about psychological cruelty...

  • The guy behind the camera was trained in a similar way. His boyfriend used his cock as the reward.

  • Awwwww soooo cuteeee

  • What a good puppy!

  • awwww what an angel 3

  • it's sooo cuteeee. <3 i adore little puppies. i have golden retriever too, 19 months old. :)

  • ive watched this soooo many times haha i love it so much <3 it makes me happy! i defo want a golden retriever at some point in my life, adorable :)

  • Omg he only blinked once and then he winked at the food

  • What a good puppy for waiting like that and good on the owners for teaching such a valuable command. I wish they hadn't allowed him to take it at the end, though. The idea behind leave it is that they are not to touch it under any circumstances. Our dog's AKC OB trainer told us to pick it up, changing the circumstances, before allowing them to have it so they know that leave it means leave it.

  • THATS DOG ABUSE...ITS WHIMPERING ): IDC IF IT'S TRAINING

  • @jessicacouture99 You're joking right?

  • @KNDRULES01 of course! you thought i was serious. just a joke...

  • Comment removed

  • @jessicacouture99 Oh ok. I thought you were serious until I saw in another comment you said you were joking. Good lol

  • lol dogs like come on let me have the stupid treats

  • What a great dog. My Lab would of chewed off his own paw to get to those treats.

  • Lol he's like, oh for real... 'cause I thought I heard you say i could eat it...

  • He he good dog, I remember when I was a puppy he he.

  • You are off to a great start in training Peanut. Beautiful dog too. Reminds me of our Golden "Redgie" when she was that age, about a year ago. I just posted a video clip in the past couple of days of her having fun you might like to see. I am new enough to YouTube that I am still guessing how some of the 'stuff' works but I bet you could find it. The clip is called 'Play with me' Redgie is 18 months old now and all of our time and effort training her has made her into a really good companion.

  • Good dog

  • My dig can do that too lol. Its funny how they just keep looking until u say the word... :)

  • akgjdkhglsfh so cute :))))

  • HAYYYY ESA CARITA ESE PERRI ES MUY BONITO ♥

  • So adorable!

  • Wow my 2 labs could never do that

  • peanut is beyond beautiful!!

  • AWWWWWW this is so cute i could die

  • Awww, what a good puppy!

  • Way to train your dog! 9 weeks and she's got 'leave it' down. that's impressive. The hard work certainly pays off down the road, now you'll have years with a great dog.

  • my dog will never do that

  • ha,,,,,,,,,,,,,

  • aww she looks so sad... what a sweetheart, such a faceful of expression! good job peanut girl you are just too darn cute (and well trained!)

  • The 39 people who disliked this video must be the most bitter people in the world! This is so adorable, good puppy!!!

  • Truly wonderful! Absolutely gorgeous! Thank you so much for posting! :)

  • Ah good girl! Too cute! 'When to I get to munch it!!?'

  • I love her!!!!! Your Golden is Adorable!!!!

  • so what if it had ate it before it was allowed what's the correct way to react then?

  • @Barefoot67 tap the puppy on the nose and say firmly "No! bad girl/boy!" and then try the trick again

  • OMG IT'S FACE. SO ADORABLEEEEE!

  • How did u train ur dog 2 do this? Anyway very cute and good training

  • what a puppy face\

  • It is a correct training.

    This puppy is cute.

    But, I have a question.

Is it a virtue that a person shows foods to a boxer under loss in quantity?

    -

    それは正確なトレーニングです。

    この子犬はかわいい。

    しかし、私は1つの疑問を持ちます。

    減量中のボクサーに食糧を見せるのは美徳ですか?

  • videos like these brighten up my day

  • I need to fucking punch the wall 100 times to regain my manliness

  • @BlindingAnime i need to find a woman to fuck, to regain my macho-ness!

  • @BlindingAnime Quit stealing other people's comments.

  • Wow, I did not realize you could start training a puppy that young.

  • *Peanut sees treat*

Peanut: Oooooo, treat! Can I noms?

    You: No, leave it!

    Peanut: DANGIT!

  • 9 weeks! wow that's impressive :) it's so cute though, you can her mind... "If I stare at them hard enough, the treats will come to me!"

  • Awwwwwhhh so cute!!!!!!

  • The longest I can get my dog to leave food is for like 5 seconds before having to remind her, and I certainly can't put it on top of her because she gets excited.

  • what a quick learner...and so adorable! good job peanut

  • omg!!!! look at her!!! shes just staring at it in the cutest way!!

  • I agree 100% with the 2nd top comment. It's not about depriving the dog or being cruel, it's about teaching the dog a bit of restraint and reaffirming the fact that the dog should not take anything unless it's ok with the owner. It might seem mean to someone who doesn't have a dog but once the dog grows up,(especially larger breeds) do you really want a 100 lbs + dog just grabbing things off your kitchen table or potentially drinking/eating something poisonous?

  • Amazing that puppies can be trained to postpone immediate gratification while many kids never do get it. Not mine of course.

  • can you teach my kid to do that?

  • he is very cute.Thumbs up For all golden retrievers

  • cute :) the dog it's so cute

  • So cute! And so smart! His owners are doing a great job training him! Nothing wrong with teaching a dog.

  • It so wanted to nom nom the treats

  • th

  • What a well behaved puppy! Some people can't even do that, lol.

  • *______*

  • How do you teach your puppy to do that?

  • It's so fluffy I'm gonna die!!! <3

  • I want that dog!! It's so cute!!!!

  • I feel so bad for the dog :(

  • His face melts my heart. What a doll <3

  • Awwwwwwwww! That puppy is soo cute!

  • I bet hes a very well behaved dog

  • Dog: Whyyyyyyyyyy? Whyyyyyyy are you doing this to me?

  • probably the cutest thing i've ever seen. ♥

  • CUTIEEEEEEEEEEEEE

  • I'm so happy for the closure I got at the end of this video. The puppy was patient and FINALLY got it.

  • aww, she looks so sad! but training is important!

  • Well done.

  • so adorable! my golden does the very same thing when we play the "wait" game. they're such an amazing breed. thank you so much for posting this, my whole family enjoyed it :)

  • OH MY GOOOODDDDD IT'S SO FREAKIN' CUUUUTEEEEE.

  • AWE! That's so cute!!!

  • awww cuteness overload ^^ <3

  • Absolutely cute. We have a pug corgi mix we're trying to train. 1 yo.

  • I'm pretty sure i'm responsible for at least 50,000 of the 500,000 views!...i cannot wait to get a puppy home!!!! peanut is the CUTEST!

  • brilliant to see owners training their dogs :) great job getting a 9 week old pup to do that, i bet you have a amazing bond now x

  • how did you teach her that???!!!

  • awwwww im getting my golden retriever on 28-12-2011 cant wait!!!! she will be 7 weeks old by then

  • omg omg omg can i have him / here ?

  • awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww

  • As long as he gave him the treats at the end, it wasn't mean........he's just teaching him discipline.

  • My dog is exactly the same as yours

  • @ElDragonDeDiego you obviously have no idea how to train dogs

  • OMG...!! Is so cuteeeeeeeeeeeeeeee...!! :3 The best puppy ever :) I wish my dogs could do this

  • omg how cute !!!! <3 I cant stop watching this

  • It never ceases to amaze me the number of stupid people who think that this sort of thing is cruel - said stupid people are most likely not dog owners, otherwise they would know that 'leave it' is VERY important for dogs to understand - said people in that case should not comment on something that they know NOTHING about... good job Peanut, it is hard but a needed knowledge!

  • @kezcooke The stupid people are the reason that so many pets are in shelters. They think that loving a dog has nothing to do with training.

  • @RJS40RJS Exactly... we've had to clean up the mess that slack dog ownership led to with our dog, it has taken us ages to get him back on track after rescuing him.

  • @RJS40RJS As a dog rescuer and good dog parent, I absolutely LOVE your comment. As Cesar Milan said, "there are three things you must do to ensure a good dog and a good relationship with that dog: exercise, discipline, and affection. In that order!" Not training your dog is just as bad as not disciplining your child. Training is for their safety, your safety, and the safety of other people and animals. You would be a fool to think training is not important. Again, LOVE your comment.

  • @kezcooke you are right about people being ignorant and stupid when they say this kind of shit is cruel...But i cant stand jackasses like you either.. the internet know-it-alls. No one needs an explanation of the importance of leave it. What are u a fucking dog whisperer?

  • @TheDragmasta stop trolling you bitch

  • @warhero281 stfu u clown....what would I possibly be trying to troll therE? are you a fucking chimp?

  • @TheDragmasta Funny... I can't stand jackasses like you either...

  • Extremely cute. I love your puppy. She is awesome!

  • This is adorable! Good training! No it's not mean.

  • *melts*

  • soo sweet :)

  • awwwwwwwwwwwww !!!!!! <3333

  • yo me voy a comprar uno de esos ja!

  • it looks just like mehhhh golden when he was a puppy!!! they are the sweetest dogs ever<3333

  • AWWWWWWW! :D

  • Awwwwwwwwwww =D

  • awwwww

  • My dog would NEVER listen to me that way!!! Haha.. Good job!

  • hermosa mascota!!! la mejor raza!!

  • I want to give this puppy a big hug and a kiss!

  • aww puppy dog eyes!

  • GreAt...!!! :-) :-D

  • Wanna know what's so strange? I turned this video on and I started to smell dog treats -_-

  • horrible! :)

  • 'arjkdjfiue i think i taste me peanuts dfajiw'..

    "no leave it."

'dsfadfasdfawefaw??! ahw... air tastes me peanuts!! adsfnji'

    "no.... ok eat it"

    SSLLLLLUUUURRRRPP

  • please advice me on how to teach my golden to "leave it". its about 10 weeks old

  • sooo sweete :X

  • My aunty had a golden retriever. He died like 4 months ago. Peanut reminds me of him.

  • Peanut, that is such a cute name =D

  • @rainexhero he's just training the dog sheesh

  • Why are you so horrible to that dog?

  • @RaineXHero this training is vital to all dogs, cuz if they see something in the street that looks like food to them, but is actually harmful to them, they have to learn to "leave it" when being told so, or they could die out of poisoning...

  • how cute

  • so do most awesome dog trainers make the best interior designers too lol

  • That's a smart, well-trained pup. Ours is pushing 3 years old now and although he's obsessed with the ball, he won't go in the street to get it. Responsible dog owners are a rare breed.
