Gangsterism also relates to hip-hop too.....the cali form of rap is called g-funk. When the East Coast set the trend for hip-hop rappers touched on more meaningful topics. Instead of about smokin weed, degrading women, & violence. Well life inspires art vice versa also. However, the East Coast contributed to the destroying hip-hop too.
