I actually remember watching this a few years ago and thinking "Nice..looks like we have ourselves a hockey team now". The Pens were so bad for a handful of years that watching them felt like watching the buccos on ice. But when Geno joined in '06 I felt we had two of the top five players in the league (and I still feel that way). The Crosby/Geno combo is unparalleled in the NHL, especially because they're still so young. Now lets hope for at least another couple of Stanley Cups...starting now!

No it wasnt, as long as any part of his foot is touching the blue line its onsides, thats why you see people drag their toe across the line when it gets really close

hes far from datsyuk as of last year is fourth in the leauge in scoring along with winning the slkye for being the best forward at defense. malkin gets more time on offence because of that more time to score. datsyuk is on the first penlty kill line which average an extra four mins a game where he cant play offence. which is 328 mins of extra time on offence that malkin gets over datsyuk. and hes only 16 points behind him in the standings. that was while missing two weeks of playoff games.

I agree. I watched Malkin play in the Olympics and have been in anticipation ever since. He was the best player on the Russian team and has been the best player on the ice here in Pitt. I knew he would be awesome but this 4th goal really highlighted his abilities. What separates him is he does everything extremely well. He is going 2 be the greatest of all time if he can stay healthy. He and Crosby will be the dynamic duo. Glad you enjoyed the video. Take care bud.
