  • The only way for this kind of music to come back is for us the public to demand it, if everyone wants to hear let me throw you in the bed and do this and that then thats what the promoters and DJ's will play. So yes it is a shame but that's what happens.

  • this is just to awesome

  • Yes Baby, we go a long way back. Been married 30 years out of our 40 years together. And I love you more today than yesterday. Yes, we go a way back. So let's see how far we can go forward. With music like this, we can go on forever. love you so much, Cat. You are my only, my main man.

A time, when a man, didn't have to feel ashame to show his feelings. A woman, didn't mind letting him know she felt the same way... Without having to play any games...They kept it real....most of the time...Nowadays...everything is game...SMH..so sad

" Natural High" It was the first record I ever bought, it cost 50 cents, and for another 15 cents you could get three of those red things that fit in the middle of the '45.' Nowadays when someone says 'a 45' you betta run because they mean a gun!

  • @txbomer your post proved what I've been trying to tell people Love was in the music back then because love was strong. We don't have that now our music is killin, robbing and sleeping with people without knowing names. Congrats your post was inspirational I hope to find that kind of love, Thanks

Yes, baby.......we go back a long way. Reminds me of the times we met and hung around South Mountain top (lover’s lane) overlooking Phoenix, AZ. The words are inspirational; good old school lov’n and words to live by. It takes me back to the days and reminds me why I am very blessed to have a lady like you in my life.

  • Songs like this are no more. Songs that had meaning.Songs that set the mood. Songs that the artist took time to compose. This song exemplified "the good ole' days". Real groups. Real songs! Thanks oldiesphxmannyb. You got it going on!

  • p.s. i can imagine this song is a set tone or background music for a slow dance in a movie.

  • I love this bonafide classic.

  • @SoulSir Young blood need to much soul to get down like this. We old folk keep this as a touch down in over time, dont you agree. IBORU.

  • @azalori I, totally agree. Music, like this is still relavant to this day, despite today's, hip hop generation trying deminish these classics, with their tunes.

  • @SoulSir Noise & noise. Bass & bass, but no lyrics, or a understading about something.

  • @azalori Youth & good listening is wasted on the young, so...lol!

  • @SoulSir Right on.

  • @azalori Show your right!

  • Yes, this song goes a long way back and it was very popular for a while. I think it was released in spring '82 and it was popular all the way into early summer of '82. Of course, only black music radio stations played it.

  • Clean rola!

  • Always a classic
