Guess the socialist/Marxist/communist inhabitants of Washington, DC just don't get it. We have a country with over 300 million people. These people have hundreds of millions of guns and plenty of ammo.

Pass a law that makes no sense and just about no one will obey it. Pass an unconstitutional law and it is null and void. Thus is the Washington, DC law regarding gun ownership and storage.

An unloaded, locked gun is about as useful as a brick in stopping a crime.

criminals are very scared to break into a home in New Mexico. They make darn sure nobody is home. It is very rare for a criminal to assault a stranger. Most assault victims know their attacker...Why?? Because the criminals do not know which homeowner or stranger is going to shoot back. We have lots of petty theft/ shoplift.. Now, do you want a shoplifting problem or an assault/murder problem? I am a psych at a jail. I know what motivates these guys, It is not hard to understand.

In New Hampshire, people wear their guns on their hips and it is one of the safest places in the country to live.

If guns are outlawed only outlaws will have guns.
