I still play Bridge Commander and Star Trek Voyager Elite Force.  I honestly was not impressed with Star Trek Online. Everything in Online just feels....well......tacky and off. Further, I refuse to have to rely on a internet connection in order to play a game. Just give the a CD!

The best is when they would start a vote to kick me from the server but didn’t know what player number I was so they ended up kicking their own people. LOL! Then they tried getting everyone together to vote yes to kick me real quick before I could vote no and save myself. So I paid em all back by submitting a vote to change the map to one that could only be loaded off the CD, which would crash the server. They all quickly voted yes thinking it was to kick me but they voted for the server crash!

Yes thank you. It was funny until they got smart and started using the password feature on the EF servers. From then on you had to join their stupid message board and be vetted for membership into their "clan". So only pathetic geeks like them could get into the servers. I can only guess how sad it was in there from then on, a bunch of losers with no lives using a combat game as a role-playing fantasy.

Ah, I remember the RPG days when the MOD first came out. It was fun to go into a server and mess with all the RPGers by causing mischief. I would go around shooting people randomly like it was a FFA. They turned off weapons damage but you could still shoot and distract them. I would also write storylines to hijack the overall story and piss people off that way.

Ya better hurry. Activision shut down the mother server and neither Gamespy nor Pathfinder will locate personal servers anymore. The only way to get to one is to know the IP address and type it in manually. Which means, anyone still playing EF after all these years is probably going to uninstall to free up space on their drives seeing as how hard it is to find a server now.
