I too use the concept of nourishing and food very broadly. There are so many ways to nourish life and they all work in concert with each other for our survival. And so many aspects of our beingness need to be nourished. Nourishing or feeding a healthy ego, soul, personality, body, mind, support system, vegetation, animals, all of nature. Important foods are from farms and gardens, as well as from good spiritual fellowship, walks in the woods, prayer, helpful books, music and other arts.
We all have difficult backgrounds, even the rich kids have desperation & depression. There is wealth & beauty in a dump and horrors in beautiful wealthy estates. We just can't let our backgrounds lead to more divisions. The system has always been screwed up, that's why Spirit sent all those prophets since the beginning of time. Confucius, The Buddhas, Krishna, Moses, Jesus, Indigenous Prophets everywhere & Mohammed & Baha'u llah. Human beings have misunderstood & messed with the messages. Love
@menderfire9 I like to think the difficulty has made me stronger, though I need to heal completely to really notice it, seems like society is good at keeping you weakened or dumbed down, eventually we will all be sick of it and all collectively seek healing, thats a large reason why im doing any of this, im seeking healing that isnt tethered to insurance or a bank account, I want to see what people are like when they arent torn in so many ways
@moosecolony I'm with you on all counts! I think healing can come from food and appropriate talk and energy therapies. Have you had any success with these things?
@menderfire9 Organic food is more expensive and im broke, I tend to eat whatever is available, and that is rarely organic. Most people now a days dont talk positively, or have conversations that im interested in unless I try to steer the conversation, even then it usually degenerates. Seems like we are in a strangle hold that promotes degenerate states of mind in the masses, or ignorant preferences, theres gotta be free places people could go that promote the opposite direction.
@moosecolony I have been in your mental, emotional and spiritual position most of my life, and I know there are a lot more people who identify with you, who are also low on the funds necessary for higher levels of physical survival. I live near food banks and two good liquidation stores that sell produce some of which is organic, and of course I grow organic stuff and my friend grows stuff. My calling in life is to nourish people. It seems as though that is your calling too. Am I right?
@menderfire9 My calling is kinda hard to define, nourishing in a broad sense yeah, though I havnt been so successful with providing food, though I worked at a soup kitchen, If we are talking other kinds of nourishment id say so, Right now id like to get into tea making with medicinal plants, though things would really need to work out if I where able to experiment with that. Id love to see food forests everywhere though!
@moosecolony I love this topic of conversation; I hope I dont come off sounding preachy about it but it really is my thing in life. I once was so broken by trying to get along with my family & survive in the "system" that I left the country for a period of 20 years. Learned how 2 live in another culture. Lived pretty much off the grid. I think the grid will always be necessary to some degree but of course it has 2 b drastically changed. I returned to the US 10 years ago, it is shocking here!
@menderfire9 Glad you survived! Im still struggling myself, this society puts a huge burden on us rational moral thinkers. The Responsibility for the suffering of the whole damn planet is on my shoulders because I know about the solutions and have a moral obligation. Im hoping God looks kindly on this mission when I attempt to cleanse/fast and heal, and stay that way, so it wont be such a struggle. Americas responsibility, cant leave until I see its changing
Nice man, you need to just keep your cool, you look more nervous when you start talking about how you aren't any good on camera, but when your further into a subject you are interested about, you can see the passion shine through, and it is very interesting to watch.
