When she is on, we have a uniquely Canadian show called the Michael Coren Show.  The best civil and robust debating on current events on Canadian TV bar none. Left right centre and any other viewpoint is welcomed and given a chance to logically argue their perspective and points. really helps to understand issues.

If anything regualtions from our government lead to consolidation and that has lead to loss of local TV stations for more remote areas in Canada. So from our experience I wouldn't ask for any government interfereance because they have done too much already.

Sadly, I think, developing nations, after long histories of colonization, have been left with few choices. But that can change. And must, for the sake of world stability.
