What people have to understand is that Marco Rubio is Cuban. Cubans don't give a sh... what hapens to Mexicans since Mexico has been deporting Cubans the minute they spot them in their territory without any pitty. Marco Rubio is not good for Latinos period! against Soto Mayor, against Aponte, and in favor of latino racial profiling. Arizona Illegal immigration bill affect ALL Latinos, Mexican, Puerto Ricans, Cubans……it is RACIAL PROFILING. Now, Im against illegal immigration but all laws like Arizona 1070 IS NOT THE ANSWER. @787inTheHouse I am surprised about the ignorance other latinos have about Cubans. Cubans have a special status, they cannot be deported if they step in the US by law. Plus most Cubans in the US look like Rubio so they cannot be a subject of any racial profiling. Plus Cubans are mostly republican. Get your fact straight before posting crap like this.

The job of enforcing FEDERAL IMMIGRATION laws is the the job of the FEDERAL government NOT the state of Arizona. Yes, Mr. Rubio is the off spring of CUBAN immigrants. What he fails to mention is that CUBAN immigrants don't have to apply for legal RESIDENCY. For them RESIDENCY IS GRANTED THE MOMENT THEY STEP ON U.S. SOIL. ~~~^~^~^

I do not believe illegal immigrants should be here no matter what the reason. However, remember that some of the people do the jobs no other American wants to do. Solve the problem by giving them tax numbers so they can work legally and pay taxes like the rest of us do. Cutting them off from working only allows them to suck of the system by living off our government. I see it daily at work!

Politicians know it's easy to solve the immigration problem, cut off the job supply, come down hard on employers of illegal workers. However they'll never do that, because the food and beverage lobby won't let them cut off their supply of cheap labor, so it's easy to scream at the poor guy who's gettin less than minimum wage to do a job that an american wouldn't do for at least twice that. Both Republican nor Democrats have not done anything about immigration. This has been an issue for more than 10 years which has snowballed into something huge resulting in the SB 1070.
