Every time I fight this fight it means more to me. Now it's more than just a fight over who's the better student. It's a fight over their problems. Luke's fighting to prove that he's not the same as Asch and that he's not inferior to the world. Asch is fighting for the life he lost, to prove that he's better than someone he refuses to believe better than him out of anger from the past.

I almost wish that no one won or lost.

i just finished this game today and i do have to say its my favorite tales game and iv played a good 5 of them so far, and i have to say luke is the best main character so far. He grows so much during the course of the game

Best Tales Game I've played. Might even be the best game I've ever played. While this franchise's strongest point is the killer music, the OST of TotA is even a step above that. Thanks for uploading AND extending one of my favorite songs in this game!

it is possible i beat asch lst time and 2nd time in 2 walkthroughs the trick is to he takes a long time to cast his spells plus i use guardian to block all of em

It's possible to beat Asch the first time you face him (and even using the same strategy: hit-and-circlerun), it's just friggin' hard since you're supposed to lose. ~_~; Still, the Grade was kinda worth the save scumming. ^_^
