Animal Apogee is a music track unlocked at the summoning obelisk under Pikkupstix's house in Taverley during the quest, Wolf Whistle. It is mainly played on keyboard and xylophone, and also echoes a lot. It is also possible to hear some small animal like sounds, referring to Summoning.

This soundtrack was also played at RuneFest 2010.

In terms of mood, Animal Apogee attempts to create an air of relaxation and peacefulness, Using a fairly plain tune and a slow beat, at least partially (cont.)...

@XJeffFoxX to be in keeping with Taverley's theme of harmony and closeness to nature. It is incredibly beautiful.

The word Apogee means "orbiting" and it is thought to mean the spirits of the animals orbiting everyday life.

Animal Apogee can also be unlocked in Ape Atoll, though most players would opt to do Wolf Whistle and unlock it than to do Monkey Madness.

This track is unlocked at all Summoning Obelisks (not small ones though), like at the one at Karamja and Piscatoris Fishing Colony.

I was so damn happy when summoning came out. I remember sitting in my kitchen where the computer used to be logging on runescape, after the downtime to realize the new background on the game, then I logged on and saw the new skill, and I was so happy! I went and did the quest, and travery was filled! IN EVERY WORLD!:) it was just a touching experience, and then the song came on and I shit bricks! it was so awesome. I miss the old shitty runescape graphics. I miss RUNESCAPE. :')
