How do i reboot it ? please answer asap im really scared. i tried changing my password and then i closed it and typed in the new password that i had choose. but it didnt let me log in, and then i typed in the password i had before and it didnt work either. please respond. =/
After that I type launchctl load /system/library/LaunchDaemons/com.opendirectoryd.plist
I get :Couldn't stat (/system/library/LaunchDaemons/com.opendirectoryd.plist ") : No such file or directory nothing found to load And I Put it everything correct! Help Me please
Hey, what do I do if I want to just delete the password so that there is no password? Is there a simpler way to change it straight to "no password" rather than changing it to a "password" then changing it to "no password"? Just curious... I'll have reseted my password by the time you read this so don't bother answering if you don't want to. Good video by the way, keep it up.
Guys the unix command for changing passwords is passwd (account name)

Hi, I've done your way and it succeeded. But my password is still the old one, but I can get in to my desktop already.

Restart Mac
Press Command+Shit+S
Wait until Fully Loaded
:/ root# mount -uw / hit enter
:/ root# dscl hit enter
> passwd Local/Default/Users/"username.for.the.account" "the.new.password"
>exit hit enter
>exit again and enter
When prompted a keychain message, cancel it.

command list:
mount -uw /
launchctl load /system/library/LaunchDaemons/com.opendirectoryd.plist
dscl
passwd Local/Default/Users"username' "the new passwd"
exit
exit
Thumbs up so people can see!
